Item Exploring The Supervisor-supervisee Communication Gap: The Case Of Second-year Master Students Of English, University Of 8 May 1945-guelma(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2021-10-06) Abdaoui, MounyaThe aim of this research paper is to explore the views of second-year Master Students about the supervisor-supervisee communication gap. Many students of English at the University of 8 May, 1945, Guelma were unable to meet the deadline of their Master Dissertation, which is potentially due to supervisors’ late feedback and lack of guidance. To uncover students’ opinions about the problem, a structured questionnaire was administered to 89 Master Students. Quantitative data revealed that 55.05% of them did not meet the deadline although 62.33% of them worked in pairs. In addition, 42.85% of the participants perceived writing dissertations as difficult due to lack of supervisor’s guidance. Furthermore, 53.48% of the informants testified a problem of late response. Interestingly, 60.67% of the respondents insisted that face-to-face meetings remain necessary in the Digital Age. Consequently, the lack of communication can ultimately lead to delay in dissertation completion.Item Teachers’ Perceptions On Teaching Cohesion To Efl Graduate Students At Mohamed Lamine Debaghine Setif 2 University(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2021-11-06) Ais, HamzaThe current probe explores teachers’ experiences in teaching cohesion for essay writing. It describes their assistance for learners to produce cohesive writing compositions. For data collection, semi-structured interviews with 05 teachers of written expression and academic writing were conducted. Thematic analysis of interviewees’ responses revealed that students’ lack of exposure to English and English collocations are two major reasons behind failure in writing cohesive essays. Time constraints limited learners to less practice in writing classes; therefore, learners should be encouraged to extensive reading. Teaching hours for written expression should be expanded to create opportunities for more practice.Item شعرية توظيف الشخصية في رواية مملكة الموز - يسقط الملك - لبوعلام بطاطاش(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2021-11-06) مرغني, سميةالملخص أثارت الشخصية اهتمام النقاد والدارسين عبر العصور، لما لها من أهمية بالغة ومكانة مهمة فهي بمثابة المحور التي تجمع كل العناصر السردية وبناء على ذلك فإن هذه الدراسة جاءت لتكشف عن شعرية توظيف الشخصية في رواية " مملكة الموز" – يسقط الملك- للكاتب الجزائري بوعلام بطاطاش ، عبر تناول تصنيفها في النص السردي وبنيتها العاملية، إضافة إلى المربع السيميائي. The character has aroused the interest of critics and scholars through the ages, because of its great importance and important position, as it is the axis that brings together all the narrative elements. Accordingly, this study came to reveal the poetic employment of the character in the novel "The Banana Kingdom" - The King Falls - by the Algerian writer Boualem Batatash, by addressing its classification in the narrative text and its global structure, in addition to the semiotic square.Item قضايا السرد وأبعاده في الأعمال الأدبية للكاتب أحمد رضا حوحو(جامعة الوادي - university of Eloued, 2021-11-06) بومعزة, نوالتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى محاولة رصد أهم القضايا التي اضطلع بها السرد في نصوص الكاتب الجزائري أحمد رضا حوحو، الذي جاهد بقلمه ونفسه في سبيــل نشر الوعي والثقافة، فتحوّلت نصوصه إلى رسائل مليئة بالأهداف السامية، بأسلوب سردي يهدف بالدرجة الأولى إلى تحقيق المنفعة والصلاح للفرد والمجتمع.وقد حاولت من خلال هذه الدراسة الإجابة عن الإشكالات المعرفية الآتية: ماهي أهم قضايا السرد التي احتوتها نصوص الكاتب أحمد رضا حوحو؟ وما خصوصية السرد في كتاباته؟ ولتحقيق القدر اليسير من التحليل استعنت بالقراءة الموضوعاتية في البحث عن القضايا والأبعاد في أعمال الكاتب مع توظيف منجزات السرديات الحديثة، خاصة في تحليل الشخصيات، وعرض خصائص البناء السردي. This study aims to try to monitor the most important issues carried out by the narrative in the texts of the Algerian writer Ahmed Reda Houho, who struggled with his pen and himself to spread awareness and culture, and his texts turned into messages full of lofty goals, in a narrative style aimed primarily at achieving benefit and good for the individual and society. Through this study, I tried to answer the following cognitive problems: What are the most important narrative issues contained in the texts of the writer Ahmed Reda Houho? What is the specificity of the narrative in his writings? To achieve a little analysis, I used thematic reading in the search for issues and dimensions in the author's work while employing the achievements of modern narratives, especially in character analysis, and presenting the specificity of narrative construction.Item Apport De La Classe Inversée à L’autonomisation Des étudiants Du Fle : Le Point Sur L’enseignement-apprentissage De La Grammaire.(جامعة الوادي - university of eloued, 2021-11-06) Nid, Mohammed TahaCet article scientifique tente de mettre en exergue l’apport de la classe inversée à l’autonomisation des étudiants du FLE dans le cadre de l’enseignement-apprentissage de la grammaire. Il y sera présenté, dans un premier temps, la pratique de classe inversée ainsi que le rapport qu’elle entretient avec l’usage des technologies numériques. Dans un second temps, nous y aborderons les enjeux et les modalités d’autonomisation des apprenants. En dernier lieu, il y sera question de la place réservée à la compétence grammaticale pour acquérir une compétence communicative. Dans la partie opérationnelle de cette étude, nous avons opté pour une expérimentation ainsi qu’une enquête par questionnaire auprès des étudiants de première année de licence en lettres et langue françaises de l’université Mohamed Khider-Biskra. Les résultats obtenus montrent que la classe inversée concourt à l’autonomisation des étudiants du FLE dans la mesure où l’enseignant s’attache à assurer un suivi rigoureux à ses apprenants et à valoriser leurs efforts. The present article attempts to highlight the contribution of the flipped classroom to the empowerment of FFL students regarding grammar teaching and learning. We will first present the practice of flipped classroom as well as the relationship it has with the use of digital technologies. Secondly, we will discuss the issues and methods of empowering learners. Finally, there will be a question of the place reserved for grammatical skill in order to acquire communicative skill. In the operational part of this study, we opted for an experiment as well as a questionnaire for first-year students of the French literature and language degree at Mohamed Khider-Biskra University. The results obtained show that the flipped classroom contributes to the empowerment of FFL students insofar as the teacher strives to ensure rigorous monitoring of his learners and to value their efforts.Item Analyse De Grilles D’évaluation Des Compétences Linguistiques Et Grammaticales En Fle : Cas De La Classe De 4ème Année Du Cycle Moyen(University of El-oued, 2021-11-06) Sayad, Kamel; MEHDI, AmirRésumé Le cycle moyen en Algérie a ses propres desseins en tant que deuxième et ultime étape de l’enseignement obligatoire. À partir de l’enseignement de plusieurs disciplines, il vise, en fait, l’installation d’un paquet de compétences lui permettant l’accomplissement d’un certain nombre de tâches et de s’intégrer dans la vie active. Parmi ces compétences, nous nous intéressons à la compétence linguistique et à la compétence grammaticale en FLE. Leur degré d’acquisition est apprécié par des grilles d’auto-évaluation clôturant chaque séquence du projet didactique. Ces grilles sont-elles des jauges efficientes pouvant renseigner l’enseignant sur ses éventuelles réussites ou ses hypothétiques ratages des apprentissages ? Dans la présente contribution, nous avons analysé trois grilles des trois séquences du projet didactique I. Les résultats obtenus arguent une inefficacité flagrante de cet outil. Abstract It goes without saying that the middle cycle in Algeria has its own intentions as the second and final stage of compulsory education. In fact, it aims, starting from the teaching of several disciplines, to install a package of skills allowing him to perform some tasks and integrating active life. Among these skills, we are interested in grammar competence. Its degree of acquisition is assessed by self-assessment grids closing each sequence of the didactic project. Are these grids acting as efficient gauges that can inform the teacher about his possible successes or his hypothetical failures in learning? In this contribution, we have analyzed three grids of the three sequences of the didactic project I. The results obtained argue that this tool is flagrantly ineffectiveItem القرية فضاء وطن ومعتركُ إيديولوجيا في رواية "الملحمة" لعبد الملك مرتاض(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2021-11-06) ناضر, فاطمة الزهرةاهتمّ الروائيون العرب بتوظيف القرية في أعمالهم الأدبيّة، وهذا نظرًا لغناها بالدلالات الإيحائيّة والرموز، وتعدد مضامينها فجعلوها مسرحًا لأحداث رواياتهم، فهي بالنسبة لهم تمثل عالمهم الرومانسي والفنيّ الذي يعكس رؤاهم وتجربتهم الإبداعيّة المعاصرة. لذا نجد عبد الملك مرتاض وظفها في روايته "الملحمة" واتخذ منها المكان الحلم، وجعلها رمزًا للوطن وبؤرة مكانيّة للسقوط والتحول، وحاضنة لاستقبال شخصيات قصته تحتضن الاستدمار بكلّ أنواعه، حيث تتوالى فيها البنيات الدلاليّة لتشكل لنا صورة فنيّة تعكس رؤاه ونظرته الإبداعيّة، متخطيًّا بذلك طبيعتها المكانيّة عن طريق تحويلها إلى مكان فنيّ شاعريّ يعكس الحياة بكلّ أبعادها الواقعيّة والإيحائيّة. وبما أنّ القرية مكان مفتوح يتسمّ بالتغير والتحول، ينفتح فضاؤها على العوالم الأسطوريّة، فإنّنا حاولنا الولوج إلى بنية المتخيل السردي واستنطاق بناها الدلاليّة والرمزيّة، واستكناه عناصرها الفنيّة والجماليَّة. Arab novelists have been interested in employing the village in their literary works, because of its richness in connotations and suggestive symbols, as they made it a stage for the events of their novels, and reflects their visions and contemporary creative experience. Therefore, we find Abd al-Malik an apostate in his novel "The Epic", making it a symbol of the homeland, a spatial center for change and transformation, an incubator for receiving the characters of his story, and a central place for containing the occupation. Since the Since the village is an open place characterized by change and transformation, and open to mythical worlds, we tried to study its semantic and symbolic structures. And learn about its technical and aesthetic elements.Item étude Interprétative Des Représentations Du Français Algérien Chez Les étudiants De Master 2, Département De Français, Université De Biskra(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2021-11-06) Hamel, Nawel; Benazouz Nadjiba, NadjibaCette étude a pour but de poursuivre des travaux antécédents ayant cerné les représentations s’étant faites sur le français et ayant un impact sur l’apprentissage et sur des situations de communication. Nous nous sommes intéressées au cours de cette recherche aux pratiques langagières des représentations des étudiants en question. Cette étude se propose de déceler un tant soit peu les représentations que pratiquent les étudiants de Master 2 sur cette langue et comprendre la relation entre le développement des représentations et leur impact sur le processus d’apprentissage du FLE. A travers une enquête, basée sur un entretien réalisé avec 15 étudiants de Master 2 de la filière de français, de l’université de Biskra, nous avons constaté que les représentations sociolinguistiques constituent des facteurs qui déterminent l’échec ou la réussite de l’apprentissage du FLE. The purpose of this study is to continue previous work that has identified the representations that are made about French and that have an impact on learning and on communication situations. We were interested in students' representations of their language practices. This study aims to detect, to some extent, the representations that Master 2 students practice on this language in the said region and to understand the relationship between the particularity of the status of French in the region, the development of representations and their impact on the process. Learning FLE, including written production. Through a survey, based on an interview carried out with 15 students of Master 2 of the French sector, from the University of Biskra, we observed that sociolinguistic representations constitute factors that determine the failure or the success of the learning French as a foreign language.Item La Traduction De La Polyphonie Dans Le Roman Postcolonial : Le Tournant Dialogique(Univercty of Eloued, 2021-11-06) Dahmane, Walid; Bouderballa, TayebCette feuille se veut examiner la traduction de la polyphonie dans l’œuvre postcoloniale. L’essence de notre questionnement est de mettre en lumière ce qui fait une bonne traduction de l’œuvre polyphonique, gravée en mosaïque, et cela en dépit des forces de monologisme et d’annexion colonialiste. Nous abordons la polyphonie selon la définition que lui requiert Bakhtine ; en tant que synonyme du dialogisme. Dans ce sens, nous avions opté pour l’analyse de la traduction du roman « Chicago » d’Alaa Alaswani, traduit de l’arabe vers le français par Gilles Gauthier. Nous adoptons lors de la lecture des traductions la méthode analytique, selon un trajet intégré et praxéologique. La traduction du texte polyphonique est à la quête d’une nouvelle épistémologie. Le principe dialogique bakhtinien semble apporter des outils innovants, de par son statut fondateur et sa nature pluridisciplinaire. Mots-clés : traduction, polyphonie, dialogisme, roman postcolonial, tension, Chicago. This paper aims at examining the translation of polyphony in the postcolonial work. The essence of our questioning is to highlight what makes a good translation of the polyphonic novel, engraved in mosaic, and this in spite of the forces of monologism and colonialist annextion as well. We approach polyphony according to the Bakhtinian definition; as a synonym of dialogism. In this sense, we have opted for the translation analysis of the novel "Chicago" by Alaa Alaswani, translated from Arabic into French by Gilles Gauthier. Reading the translations adopts the analytical method, embracing an integrated and praxeological path. Translating the polyphonic text is seeking a new epistemology. The Bakhtinian dialogic principle seems to provide innovative tools, by virtue of its founding status and its multidisciplinary nature.Item Aspects Préludaires Du Romancier Algérien Dans L'écrit Littéraire De Malek Bennabi(جامعة الوادي - university of Eloued, 2021-11-06) FAID, SalahLes écrits littéraires d’expression française constituent un domaine à part entière ; en effet, l’on n’entend dans ce domaine que très peu que le penseur Malek Bennabi soit d’une telle ingéniosité littéraire de sorte qu’on lui doit un notable écrit relevant de ce domaine. Son roman Lebbeik : pèlerinage de pauvres (1948), représente l’exemple que la présente étude entreprend à travers une méthodologie analytique. La particularité de l’écriture littéraire chez Bennabi découle du fait que ce roman est considéré comme un écrit prodromique vis-à-vis des écrits littéraires d’expression française en Algérie. Ainsi, cet article rend compte d’un côté du procédé romancier artistique que possède Bennabi ; d’un autre côté, il concède à travers les exemples pris du roman la distinction à cet auteur qui se doit le mea-culpa des précurseurs ayant franchi le grand domaine de la littérature algérienne écrite en langue française. French-language literary writings constitute a field in its own right; indeed, very little is heard in any field that thinker Malek Bennabi is of such literary ingenuity that he is credited with a notable writing in this field. His novel Lebbeik : pèlerinage de pauvres (1948), represents the example that this study undertakes through an analytical methodology. The peculiarity of literary writing in Bennabistems from the fact that this novel is considered a prodromal writing vis-à-vis French-speaking literary writings in Algeria. Thus, this article reports on one side of Bennabi's artistic novelist process; On the other hand, through the examples taken from the novel, he concedes the distinction to this author who owes himself the mea-culpa of the precursors who crossed the great domain of Algerian literature written in French.Item المضمرات النسقية في النقد المغاربي قبل القرن الخامس الهجري - مقاربة من منظور النقد الثقافي(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2021-11-06) بن جدو, فريالتسعى هذه الدراسة إلى إماطة اللثام عن الجزء المتواري خلف الخطاب النقدي المغاربي قبل القرن الخامس الهجري القابع خلف الأنظمة النصية المتمنعة عن الظهور، والذي نحسب أنّه من خلال قراءتنا له سنكشف عن كمّ هائل من المضمرات النسقية خاصة إذا أخذنا بعين الاعتبار دور المؤسسة الثقافية في تعزيز تلك المكانة وترسيخها في الفكر النقدي، والتي صاحبت في نفس الوقت غزارة التأليف النقدي آنذاك، و ثمة فإننا سنحاول من خلال استعانتنا بآليات النقد الثقافي أنْ ننفتح على رؤية جديدة للنقد المغاربي رؤية نبتعد من خلالها عن تلك الرتابة التي طبعت الدراسات النقدية التحليلية للخطاب النقدي المغاربي و التي نرى أنّها لا تدفع جديدا ولا تُجدّد قديما والالتفات إلى الجزء الخفي من الخطاب النقدي المغاربي This research paper seeks to uncover the part hidden behind the critical Maghreb discourse - before the fifth century AH - that lies behind the textual systems that refrain from appearing, and which we think that through our reading of it will reveal a huge amount of systemic ambiguities that have always given themselves a place in the light of the discourse. La culture des deux langues (d’origine et cible) étant un enjeu d’envergure en classe de langue. Ainsi, pour atteindre notre objectif, les trois concepts retenus (Interculturel ; co-culturel ; transculturel) seront étudiés et analysés selon le modèle de Gerring. The present research is trying to determine the most operative and effective concept that will enable future teachers to understand culture and culture, in order to be able to take charge of it wisely. The culture of both languages (origin and target) is a major issue in language classes. Thus, to achieve our objective, the three concepts chosen (Intercultural; co-cultural; transcultural) will be studied and analyzed according to the Gerring model.Item Metafiction And Claustrophobia In Paul Auster's City Of Glass(2021-11-06) Dida, Nassireddine; Maoui, HocineThis paper addresses the argument that metafiction and reality are fundamentally identical in that they are both linguistic constructs within which humans experience claustrophobia. Metafiction exemplifies how the postmodern subject strives to escape all closed boundaries that limit their existential, cultural, or personal freedom. In this context, this article analytically examines the relationship between metafiction and claustrophobia in Paul Auster’s novel City of Glass. It highlights how language plays a major role in restricting people to linguistic realities that have no connection with other realms outside language. The intended purpose is to illustrate how humans have become claustrophobic in a postmodern culture that delegitimizes all major grand narratives or stories that once gave spiritual meaning to their lives.Item La Nomination Glottophobe En Interaction : Négation Et Dérision(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2021-11-06) Ahmed Tayeb, MounirLa construction de soi en contexte urbain tizi-ouzéen passe par des discours altéro/glottophobes axés sur les dualismes villageois-citadins, néo-rétro, « sauvage »-civilisé. L’analyse des discours épilinguistiques produits en focus group montre comment ces dualismes sont subsumés dans une trame altéro/glottophobique articulant – sur le mode de la négation/dérision – des registres transgressifs aussi variés que l’ontotype, la sobrication ou encore l’animalisation. The construction of oneself in a Tizi-ouzéen urban context involves altero/glottophobic discourse based on village-city, neo-retro, «savage»-civilized dualisms. The analysis of epilinguistics speeches produced in focus group shows how these dualisms are subsumed in an altero/glottophobic framework articulating – in the modes of negation and derision – transgressive registers as varied as ontotype, sobrication or even animalization.Item التصور التداولي عند الكلاعي - دراسة تحليلية في مقاصد المتكلم(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2021-11-06) دحو, حسين; مزابية, وردةتحاول هذه الدراسة الكشف عن تجليات التصور التداولي عند ابن عبد الغفور الكلاعي من خلال مفهوم القصد باعتباره قرينة من أهم القرائن التي يعتمد عليها المتكلم في بلوغ غايته التأثيرية والإقناعية لدى المتلقي، وذلك في كتابه "إحكام صنعة الكلام" الذي سعى صاحبه إلى إرساء قوانين صناعة الكلام بُغية تأسيس نظرية للنثر العربي انطلاقا من المتكلم ومقاصده مرورا بالخطاب ومقاماته وصولا إلى المتلقي وأحواله، في محاولة لقراءة جديدة في كتابه واستلال ما ورد في مفهوم القصد وعلاقته بصاحبه وخطابه ومتلقيه تنظيرا وتطبيقا، والكشف عن الأهمية التي حظي بها المتلقي في نظريته، ليتبيّن لنا مدى تفطّن هذا الناقد إلى طرح قضايا نقدية منذ وقت مبكّر تعلقت بأركان الخطاب والتواصل اللغوي التفاعلي طرحًا ذا أبعاد تداولية تُعنى بقوانين صناعة الكلام. فكيف تجلّى التصور التداولي لدى الكلاعي من خلال عنايته بمقاصد المتكلم؟ Abstract This research shed a light on the manifestations of the deliberative perception of Ibn Abd al-Ghafour al-Kalaeithrough the concept of intention thatit is considered as one of the most important indicatorsthat the speaker relies on in achievinghis influence and persuasive goal according to the recipient ،in his book "ahkamsaneatalkalam"Ruling the industry of speech" that the owneraimed to establishlaws of the industry of speech to establish a theory of Arab prose from the speaker and his intentions through the speech to the conditions of the recipient.However ،the aim of thisresearchpaper is to answer the followingquestion: How did the deliberative perception of the Kalaeiwas put throughhis attention to the intentions of the speaker? Nous allons voir dans On dirait le Sud, les élucubrations d’un esprit tourmenté comment s’organise un univers complexe où les hommes en interaction avec les animaux tirent un enseignement sur la vie et sur l’espace. Through the prism of the animal imagination and discursive semiotics, we will first approach the way in which the animal imprints on man its own qualities and symbolism, then the borders which separate the two natureswhere reads the possibility of seeing the man turns into an animal.Item The Conception of Language Errors from the Perspective of Structural Linguistics: A Descriptive-analytic Study(جامعة الوادي - university of Eloued, 2021-11-06) NAOUA, MohammedThis paper attempts to highlight the concept of errors from the perspective of structural linguistics. The latter assumes that learning takes place as a result of stimuli-and-responses. In the context of language learning the data, which the linguist may observe, concern utterances (responses). Influenced by the findings of Behaviorist psychology, structural linguists consider language as a set of habits which can be acquired through the process of imitation, repetition and practice. In their turn, these habits fall into two types: good habits (correct sentences) and bad habits (erroneous sentences). Good habits should be reinforced and bad habits are to be eradicated. The main aim of this study is to introduce the concept language errors from the standpoint of structural linguistics. This school uses the process of error analysis as a means for predicting, identifying, explaining and finally getting rid of language irregularities.Item The Shadow Of Representations The New Orientalistic Tenets In Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2021-11-06) Sedrati, Yasser; Maoui, HocineThis paper tries to approach The Kite Runner (KT) by Khaled Hosseini from a New Orientalistic perspective by the amplification of the different cultural, ideological, historical, and the political determinants which the researchers believe are major cornerstones. The novel is scrutinized on the basis of a postmodern philosophy that involves the epistemological model which is built on relativism, subjectivity, and deconstruction foundations. This paper accumulates different critics’ thoughts on New Orientalism philosophy and its permutations in the KT. Then, different conclusions are synthesized. Le jeu lexico-culturel, peut-il être plus efficace pour la formation des lycéens à l’interculturalité, à l’ouverture à l’autre et à l’éthique de la diversité? Ainsi est notre question principale, pour y répondre, nous avons mené une expérimentation pour identifier l’apport potentiel de cette activité qui fait partie intégrante du monde de l’enfant et de l’adolescent. À travers notre étude, nous avons pu démontrer l’impact incontestable de cette activité ludique sur le développement d’une compétence culturelle, d’une conscience de la diversité puis sur la cimentation d’une vision interculturelle de celle-ci. In this contribution which is registered in the field of sociodidactics, we are interested in the impact of the use of lexical game in the service of intercultural education in FLE class. Can the lexico-cultural game be an effective way to form the high school pupils to interculturality, to openness to the other and to ethiques of diversity? To answer this question, we have conducted an experiment to identify the potential effect of this activity which is an integral part in the world of children’s and teenagers. Through our study, we could figure the good impact of this playful activity on the development of a cultural competence, an awareness of the diversity then on the strengthening of an intercultural vision of this one
