    This study aims to shed light on the state of Algeria's industrial sector and assess its economic contribution before the oil shock. It provides a forward-looking perspective within the context of new growth model policies and industrial strategies designed to diversify the economic structure and reduce dependence on a rentier economy. We employed an analytical approach to examine key milestones in the national economy and the anticipated future role of the industrial sector. The study concludes that the industrial sector faces significant structural challenges. It underscores the necessity of effectively implementing policies on the ground—moving beyond mere rhetoric and slogans—to achieve sustainable development.

    Social Support Strategies And Economic Impacts In Algeria

    Algeria urgently needs to thoroughly reform its subsidy policy and public financial management in response to growing economic challenges. This reform aims to reconcile essential social support, financial sustainability, and the promotion of economic development. Although subsidies aim to stabilize prices and assist citizens, they represent a significant financial burden for the state, contributing to worsening socioeconomic inequalities. These measures tend to disproportionately benefit high-income individuals at the expense of the most vulnerable. Moreover, the state of public finances and foreign trade, as well as the adjustments provided for by the 2024 Finance Act, are key elements that place subsidies at the heart of political and economic debates. This critical study scrutinizes the historical and ideological foundations of Algeria's welfare state, analyzes the current rentier state crisis, and proposes a multifaceted social policy strategy for significant reform, aiming to secure an economically sustainable and socially fair future for Algeria

    SONELGAZ, a major player in the electricity sector in Algeria, is exploring diversification toward energy efficiency for industries. An in-depth study analyzes the advantages (reduction of energy consumption, savings, and sustainable development) and challenges (initial investment, culture change, and competition) of this strategy. The aim is to inform SONELGAZ's decision-making and to feed the debate on the energy transition in Algeria. Success will depend on careful planning, sound investments, and collaboration with key partners, such as the economic partner, the foreign company General Electric (GE). This diversification represents a major opportunity for the company and for Algeria to meet the challenges of the energy transition and to create a sustainable energy future

    The Impact Of Exchange Rate Policy In Achieving Economic Stability

    This paper aims to investigate and analyze the effectiveness of monetary policy in achieving economic stability for Libya through the channel of exchange prices in both official and black markets, using annual data from 1980 to 2020. We adopted the gross domestic product, unemployment rate, and exchange rate as model variables, while these variables are considered some of the macroeconomic indicators. The analysis is performed by using structural break unit root tests, Gregory Hansen, and threshold co-integration ("FMOLS, DOLS, & CCR" methodology). Subsequently, the results revealed the existence of a "structural break" in 2003, and the long-term inverse relationship between official exchange rates and economic growth, indicating its importance as a stabilizing factor for the Libyan economy. Furthermore, reducing the Libyan unemployment rate would lead to an increase in economic growth.

    The Impact Of Logistics Performance On Participation In Global Value Chains

    The study aims to measure the impact of logistics performance on participation in global value chains in Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco during the period from 1996 to 2020. The effects on participation in global value chains were examined through two approaches; the first approach is the effects on forward links. The second effect is on participation in global value chains through backlinks. The impact of logistical performance was measured by looking at the impact of container port traffic and air transport, in addition to the impact of economic variables related to explaining the phenomenon, such as per capita GDP, foreign direct investment, and economic freedom. Econometric models were relied upon using dynamic approaches estimated through the bias-corrected method of moments. The study concluded that container port traffic has positive effects on participation in global value chains through backward and forward links, as well as a more profound impact on forward links. Foreign direct investment also contributes to deepening the participation of Arab countries in global value chains through forward links. The results also underscore the importance of economic growth as a promoter of deeper integration into the global economy through global value chains across forward and backward linkages

    أهمية تطبيق أبعاد التسويق الداخلي على جودة الخدمة في مؤسسة إتصالات الجزائر

    هدفت هذه الورقة البحثية إلى التعرف على أهمية أبعاد التسويق الداخلي في جودة الخدمة في مؤسسة إتصالات الجزائر لولايتي المغير وتوقرت، ولتحيق الهدف تطرقنا في هذه الدراسة إلى المفاهيم المتعلقة بالتسويق الداخلي وجودة الخدمة، تم إعداد استبيان وزع على عينة غير عشوائية تقدر بــ 60 مفردة، وقد توصلنا في هذه الورقة البحثية إلى أن أبعاد التسويق الداخلي في مؤسسة اتصالات الجزائر بكل من ولايتي توقرت والمغير له أهمية، تتفاوت هذه الأهمية من بعد لآخر، على هذا الأساس أوصت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: الاهتمام أكثر بالتسويق الداخلي في مؤسسسة اتصالات الجزائر بولايتي المغير وتوقرت، والاهتمام بالمكافآت المادية بالموظفين بالمؤسسة التي تنعكس إيجابا على تقديمهم لخدمات ذات جودة، والعمل عل مشاركة أثر للموظفين في اتخاذ قرارات المؤسسة لتحقيق جودة خدمات أفضل، والبحث عن تقنيات إضافية أفضل للاهتمام بالزبائن بالمؤسسة بغية تحقيق جودة في الخدمة. The aim of this research paper is to find out the importance of internal marketing dimensions in the quality of service at the Algerian telecommunications corporation for the two states of Touggourt and El-Mghaiar. To achieve this goal, we addressed in this study the concepts related to internal marketing and service quality. We prepared and distributed a questionnaire to an estimated non-random sample of 60 individuals. In the research paper, we have concluded that the dimensions of internal marketing in the Algeria Telecom Corporation in each of the states of El-Mghaiar and Touggourt have importance, and this importance varies from one dimension to another. Based on these findings, the study proposes a series of recommendations, the most significant of which is to allocate more attention to internal marketing within the Algeria Telecom Corporation in the states of Touggourt and El-Mghaiar. The study recommends rewarding the employees of the organization, as this positively reflects on their provision of quality services. Additionally, the organization should work to increase employee participation in decision-making to improve service quality. Furthermore, the organization should search for additional and better techniques to care for its customers, thereby enhancing service quality.

    قياس مستوى أداء الخدمات العمومية في ظل التوجهات الحديثة لإصلاح الإدارة العمومية

    تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى قياس مستوى أداء الخدمات العمومية بولاية ورقلة من خلال قياس تقييم المواطنين لمستوى جودة الخدمات العمومية، ومستوى رضاهم عن هذه الخدمات بمختلف الجوانب والإجراءات الخاصة بعملية تقديمها، وقد جاءت هذه الدراسة بالتزامن مع مختلف الجهود الرامية إلى تحسين وإصلاح الإدارة العمومية تماشيا مع التوجهات الحديثة لممارسات المناجمنت في قطاع الإدارة العمومية، حيث تم إنجاز هذه الدراسة من خلال تصميم وتوزيع إستبيان على عينة قدرها (315) مواطن، وقد أسفرت النتائج عن تقييم ضعيف لمستوى جودة الخدمات العمومية وعدم الرضا عنها من طرف المواطنين عينة الدراسة، مما يتطلب تكثيف الجهود للنهوض بمستوى تقديم الخدمات العمومية بالشكل الذي يستجيب لتطلعاتهم. Strategic marketing has emerged as a crucial competitive tool for today's competitive companies. It enables the alignment of the supply chain system through a coalition between the supply chain and value chain, a symmetry of interactions between activities, and the allocation of material and human resources. This approach maximizes the strategic leverage between the value chain's activities, maneuvers, flows, and resource allocations, ensuring successful and transversal competitiveness for the company in both its upstream market (supplier) and its downstream market (customer).

    The main aim of this study is to investigate the nature of relationship between imported inflation and local investment in the Libyan economy during the period 1970-2021. ARDL estimates indicated a positive relationship between oneyear lagged value of imported inflation and local investment in the short run. However, in the long run the study findings showed that imported inflation is an obstacle of economic growth. In other words, it indicated a long run negative relationship between imported inflation and local investment

    With the continuous advancements in the fields of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Deep Learning, the financial industry has witnessed significant progress, where these technologies have played a pivotal role in enhancing digital finance. These developments contribute to processing the massive amount of financial data while addressing the complexity arising from the inherent laws and random fluctuations in financial models. This has complicated financial characteristics and increased the difficulty of effectively handling financial data, emphasizing the growing need to adapt to resolutions and studies based on data processing technologies. In the context of financial data, such as high-frequency intraday trading data, stock prices, and trading volumes, the Python programming language has proven to offer numerous features that cater to the needs of practitioners in the financial sector, particularly in the field of market finance. Python is characterized by its high computational speed, open-source nature, and excellent data visualization capabilities. This study focuses on analyzing financial data using the Python platform, selecting six stocks representing different industries from the Saudi stock market. These stocks include Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (SAFCO), Marafiq (The Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu), Saudi Aramco, Luberef (Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company), and Saudi Telecom Company (STC). The study aims to obtain the optimal portfolio using two approaches: the first based on the portfolio with the highest Sharpe Ratio and the second focused on the portfolio with the lowest experimental variance. Python implements Monte Carlo simulations to optimize both approaches. The analyses involve comparing expected returns, standard deviations, and Sharpe Ratios and evaluating the effective results by defining the efficient frontier of optimal portfolios. The empirical analysis clearly highlights the strategic importance of Markowitz's Portfolio Theory in enhancing financial risk management in this research.
