These ethical considerations are important to address in the development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) systems to ensure that they are used in a responsible and beneficial manner. This paper highlights the critical ethical issues in the use of artificial intelligence and addresses the need for continued dialogue and collaboration among technologists, policy makers, and other stakeholders to ensure that artificial intelligence (AI) is developed and used in a manner that respects ethical principles and protects the interests of individuals and society as a whole.
Exploring the Effectiveness of ChatGPT in Plagiarism Detection: Opportunities and Challenges for AI-based Approaches

This research paper explores the effectiveness of Chat GPT, an AI-based language model, in the context of plagiarism detection. The study delves into the opportunities and challenges associated with employing AI approaches for identifying instances of plagiarism. Through a comprehensive assessment, including a thorough literature review and methodology description, the paper evaluates the accuracy and performance of Chat GPT in comparison to traditional methods and other AI-based techniques for detecting plagiarism. The results highlight the potential of Chat GPT in enhancing the detection of plagiarism while acknowledging the limitations and ethical considerations surrounding the use of AI in this domain. Notre contribution se veut une réflexion autour d’un phénomène très répondu dans le milieu universitaire à savoir le « plagiat». Notre intérêt porte essentiellement sur les types de plagiat employés par les étudiants dans les travaux scientifiques. Vu l’importance de la thématique abordée, nous nous contentons dans le présent travail de citer les types de plagiat . Ensuite, nous aborderons les causes et les conséquences de ce phénomène qui prend de l’ampleur . Enfin, nous proposons certaines mesures pour lutter contre le « copier-coller». Cependant, en amont à ces mesures coercitives, une formation rigoureuse à l’élaboration d’écrits devrait être mise en place à chaque niveau de la formation ayant pour objectif de former les étudiants à l’écrit scientifique en particulier et ce pour faire acquérir à ces dits étudiants des compétences discursives nécessaires à l’élaboration de leurs travaux écrits exigés dans leur parcours universitaire. Abstract: Our contribution is a reflection on a widespread phenomenon in the academic world, namely "plagiarism". Our main interest is in the types of plagiarism used by students in scientific work. Given the importance of the topic, we will limit ourselves in this work to citing the types of plagiarism. Then, we will discuss the causes and consequences of this growing phenomenon. Finally, we propose some measures to fight against "copy-pasting". However, prior to these coercive measures, rigorous training in writing should be put in place at each level of training with the aim of training students in scientific writing in particular and to enable them to acquire discursive skills necessary for the development of their written work required in their university career.

La déontologie et l’intégrité scientifique sont essentielles à la vie académique en ce qu’elles ont pour visée de garantir le caractère honnête, intègre et responsable des travaux de recherche, dans la mesure où l’acte de « plagiat », qui touche les étudiants, les doctorants, les chercheurs et les enseignants-chercheurs dans toutes les universités, est un crime éthique et scientifique et une violation du principe d'honnêteté scientifique et d'intégrité académique, que chaque chercheur devrait avoir dans sa recherche scientifique et qui mérite un traitement juridique qui soit à la hauteur des risques qu'il fait courir à la société de la connaissance. Plagiat numérique scolaire chez les jeunes élèves : causes et mesures préventives

Le plagiat est la présentation illicite d’un produit intellectuel d’autrui et son appropriation comme le sien sans citer la source d’origine. Le plagiat va à l’encontre de l’honnêteté, de l’éthique et de l’intégrité académique ainsi qu’il a des effets négatifs sur les compétences de l’apprenant et l’image de l’établissement éducatif. L’avènement d’internet et le progrès technologique ont facilité la propagation du plagiatpuisque sa pratique est devenue plus rapide et plus accessible qu’auparavant surtout pour les jeunes apprenants inconscients de ses effets néfastes et ses répercussions sur leurs vies futures. Etant donné que la principale mission des établissements éducatifs est de former les futures universitaires et professionnels aux principes d’honnêteté et d’éthique ayant le sens de créativité et de réflexion, ce travail tente d’aborder le sujet du plagiat numérique scolaire chez les jeunes élèves tout en discutant des principales causes etconséquences auxquelles sont confrontés les apprenants, les établissements éducatifs et la société, et proposer ensuite des mesures préventives pour confronter ce phénomène et le bannir dès le jeune âge. Plagiarism goes against honesty, ethics and academic integrity as well as having negative effects on the learner's skills and the image of the educational institution. The advent of the Internet and technological progress has facilitated the spread of plagiarism as its practice has become faster and more accessible than before, especially for young learners who are unaware of its harmful effects and its repercussions on their future lives. Given that the main mission of educational institutions is to train future academics and professionals in the principles of honesty and ethics with a sense of creativity and reflection, this work attempts to address the topic of academic digital plagiarism among young students while discussing the main causes and consequences faced by learners, educational institutions and society, and then propose preventive measures to confront this phenomenon and banish it from a young age.

La prise en charge de l'université et des centres de recherches des missions d'enseignement et de recherche du savoir, passe nécessairement par le respect des valeurs éthiques, qui sont l'intégrité et la rigueur scientifique. Or aujourd'hui l'université, en plus des problèmes quotidiens auxquels elle fait face, se trouve confronté au plagiat. Le plagiat qui reste tout de même limité, mais sa recrudescence et son utilisation par les enseignants, les enseignants- chercheurs et les chercheurs, ainsi que par les étudiants notamment doctorants, des différentes spécialités scientifiques risque de saper les fondements de l'enseignement et de la recherche. Le développement de l'internet a facilité énormément la recherche et l'utilisation des données, mais il a également facilité le copier-coller et la reproduction illégale des données sans autorisations préalables de la part des auteurs originaux, ce qui représente une atteinte aux droits d'auteurs. Au vu des effets négatifs du plagiat sur l'enseignement et sur la recherche scientifique, la situation impose à l'ensemble des membres de la communauté universitaire et des chercheurs une mobilisation pour faire face à la montée de ce fléau qui risque de porter atteinte à l'intégrité scientifique
