Item Address of the intervention: The human right to understand expert science: the standard of modernity of the law?(University of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2018-09-12) Soltani, AminaTwo decades later, participatory democracy emerged in public law, posing the need for the law to be written by demanding the administration of truth, and the words of the law itself can no longer be tolerated in today's society except through a genuine discourse. The law becomes the element that increases the performance of an evidentiary group to produce facts. Inference here with the science where the law is united by science or mingling through the resort to objectivity, which is the fruit of scientific experience to bring the legal system to the system of interpretation of honest and legitimate, the law to provide models and systems in the form of a set of rules and answers adapted to this extent or that with the development Science . For example, the use of DNA in the criminal justice process gradually evolved to less than 20 years, the least controversial scientific material in criminal justice to prove and understand the physical evidence of the crime scene. The use of lab evidence has grown in scientific innovations and practical applications. The analysis of the PC and mobile phone segments has become a physical guide to the suspect's cybercrime, giving the prestige and prestige of science and technology to understand And proof of physical evidenceItem Analysis of the variance water distribution of pivot sprinkler irrigation on the productivity of the potato plant in El Oued region of Algeria(Edirne. Turkiye, 2023-09-18) Messaoudi Mohammed; Hacene Laouedj; Ghemam Amara DjilaniThis study aimed to determine the extent different of distribution of the axial sprinkler water as a method of irrigation, and the effect of this on the quantity and quality of potato plant production in different areas along the axis sprinkler in the sandy soil of Eloued region in Algeria. For this, we relied on a sample of data consisting of 150 observations distributed over 10 areas according to the length of the axis. statistically we used oneway-analysis of variance after ensuring its statistical validity. Accordingly, we concluded that despite the significant statistical significance of the difference in the distribution of irrigation water( and the time taken and flow strength) along the axis, the difference in the amount of water supplied in the tenth area (tail region) reached a maximum of 57,58 % relative to the reference area ( the fourth region), which recorded at 42,42 % of what the reference area obtained, and at least 21,60 % was obtained in the eighth area relative to the reference region, which obtained 78,40 % of what the reference area obtained. However, according to the tests of our study, this had no significant effect on the difference, quantity and quality of production along the radius at the 5 % level. In light of these results, we concluded that the productivity of the irrigation water component fundamentally differs between the areas along the axis, which means that this irrigation method is not economical in sandy soils.Item Antioxidant and antimicrobial activity of flavonoid extracts of Arnebia Decumbens (Vent) growing in southeast Algeria(Sousse- Tunisie, 2023-07-10) Tamma noureddineItem Approaches to Composition Literacy: Bridging the Gap between Theory and Practice(University of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2017-11-07) Naoua, MohammedThis paper attempts to trace the chronological development of the theories and approaches, which have been generating the literature relevant to foreign language writing since the second half of the 20th century. The intent is to examine the extent to which these theories have affected the process of composition in classroom practices. The study starts with the Controlled-composition approach highlighting its focus on coherent arrangement of word to structure grammatical correct sentences. Then, it introduces the orientations of the Current-traditional rhetoric emphasizing that the composing process should focus on developing (a) given language function(s). With the emerge of the Process approach attempting to reinforce learners' expressive abilities, the composition practices turned towards creative writing. However, the increase of interest in writing for academic purposes the composing practices seems now to lay much more emphasis on text genres. This paper attempts to highlight the role of composition theories in fostering higher education writing practices.Item Artificial bee colony optimization for economic dispatch with valve point effect(Higher Education Press, 2014-12) Labbi, Yacine; Ben Attous, Djilani; Mahdad, BelkacemIn recent years, various heuristic optimization methods have been proposed to solve economic dispatch (ED) problem in power systems. This paper presents the well-known power system ED problem solution considering valve-point effect by a new optimization algorithm called artificial bee colony (ABC). The proposed approach has been applied to various test systems with incremental fuel cost function, taking into account the valve-point effects. The results show that the proposed approach is efficient and robust when compared with other optimization algorithms reported in literature.Item Bio-activity of essential oils from Cymbopogon schoenanthus L(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2021-10-24) KADRI, Mounira; BELBOUT, Amel; SALHI, Nasrine; YAHIA, Abedelouahabالفعالية البيولوجية للزيت الأساسي للماد Cymbopogon schoenanthus L تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التحقق من الفعالية المضادة للأكسدة و الفعالية ضد بكتيرية للزيت الأساسي لنبات اللماد النامي في الصحراء الجزائرية تم استخلاص الزيت الأساسي للجزء الخضري للماد عن طريق التقطير المائي (كليفنجر) لمدة 3 ساعات. Being a global citizen having the flexibility to adequately react in multicultural environments is the new perspective of the English language teaching polices in Algeria. To measure the EFL teachers' readiness to include intercultural components besides the language profeciency and in order to investigate the different methods adopted by them to help in building students' intercultural competence, a structured interview was conducted with a number of 06 English language teachers at the department of English in the Univerity of El- Oued. Results reveal that EFL teachers are a.\ryare of the students' increasing demand to master not only English but the cultural dimension also associated with situations that require English as a medium of communication such as involving in interviews related to job opportunities, studying abraod and participating in AIESEC programmes devoted to the youth where they have to pass interviews with high-ups from different social and cultural backgrounds. For this reason, teachers tend to integrate new language teaching practices in the classroom based on an inevitable combination of language skills and intercultural competency by focusing on values, attitudes and knowledge about other people's cultures and otherness studies. Teachers also add that their task is getting easier with the technological advances since the internet revolutionized people's lifestyles. In other words they argue that students come to class with prior worldviews and holistic viewpoints on the other because of the widespread use of the internet. Teachers also add that they resort to various models of intercultural competence to create learning tasks that help students to gain intercultural competence. Results led to the construction of pedagogical implications that highlight the importance of encouraging the teaching methods that consider the cultural dimension at the heart of the foreign language teachinÿlearning process because language and culture are inextricably linked.Item CFD Study of Methane-Hydrogen Behavior in a Non-Premixed Combustion Chamber(University of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2017-11-26) Attia, M. E. H.; Boukhari, A.; Bouras, F.; Driss, Z.In this paper, the numerical results of the study of a turbulent flame of methane-hydrogen/air generated by a cylindrical burner are presented. The numerical simulations are carried out using the CFD code "FLUENT" and "Gambit" for the meshing process. The finite volume method was used to solve the Navier-Stokes equations governing the flow. The coupling of the LES/PDF models is used to model the turbulence/chemistry interaction in the system's transport equations. The results of the calculations are expressed and analyzed in terms of axial velocity, temperature and mass fraction of carbon monoxide CO. The results of the numerical calculations are compared and validated against experimental data. In addition, the same parameters considered above are used in the study of the combustion behavior of CH4 /H2 fuels. The obtained results confirm the fact of considering hydrogen as a clean nonpolluting fuel compared to methane, since it has no carbon monoxide emissions in combustion products. Besides this fact, the hydrogen gas velocity in the flame is significantly higher by comparing it to the methane gas velocityItem Chemical composition and antioxidant activity of Apis mellifera bee pollen from northwest Algeria(Journal of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, 2012-12-31) Rebiai, Abdelkrim; Lanez, TouhamiThe aim of this study was to assess the nutritional composition and antioxidant activity of bee pollen produced in the North western region of Algeria. The mean contents of phenolic compounds and total flavonoids were 30.46 ± 8.22 mg of GAE.g–1 pollen and 8.92 ± 5.5 mg of RE.g–1 pollen, respectively. High antioxidant activities were found for the molybdate ion reduction method, with values that ranged from 71.95 to 101.5 μg of GAE.g –1 pollen. The bee pollen of Boufarik showed high antioxidant activity probably due to the high content of phenolic compounds present in pollen.Item CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF THE ESSENTIAL OIL OF RUTA GRAVEOLENS GROWING WILD IN SOUTH EAST ALGERIA(Sousse- Tunisie, 2023-07-10) ABADI ABDERREZZAKItem Comparative Analysis of Multiple Linear Regression and Generalized Regression Neural Network for Water Temperature Estimation of Fontaine Des Gazelles Reservoir Dam-Biskra, Algeria(The International Society for Engineers and Researchers (ISER). Istanbul. Turquie, 2024-02-06) MEZIANI, ASSIAOur research centers on estimating the water temperature of Fontaine de Gazelles Reservoir Dam by analyzing air temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation, atmospheric pressure, wind speed, and precipitation. These variables collectively impact water temperature, reflecting the thermal environment, water vapor content, solar energy, air density, wind-induced processes, and precipitation cooling. We employ Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) and Generalized Regression Neural Networks (GRNN) models for accurate estimates. MLR captures linear dependencies among climate variables, while GRNN model complex nonlinear relationships. Trained on historical data and real-time measurements, both MLR and GRNN demonstrate strong capabilities. MLR achieves high Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (0.991 to 0.997) and low Root Mean Squared Error (0.406 to 0.625), while GRNN achieves similar values. Both models consistently exceed a coefficient of determination R2 equal 0.99, indicating a robust correlation, and display low Mean Absolute Error (0.236 to 0.391), affirming their accuracy. This attests to MLR and GRNN's reliability in estimating water temperature for the Fontaine de Gazelles Reservoir Dam. Item Comparative study of hemispherical solar distillers iron-fins(Elsevier, 2021-04-10) Attia, Mohammed El Hadi; Kabeel, AE; Abdelgaied, Mohamed; El-Maghlany, Wael M; Bellila, AbdelkaderThe ratio between surface area to volume is higher in spherical distillers than traditional single slope distillers. To utilize this advantage, the study measures hemispherical distillers performance. Iron fins have been employed at different lengths and spacing in absorber plate to increase absorption area and transmit heat from hot basin plate to saline water. Three configurations have been tested under same operating conditions. First, the conventional hemispherical distiller without fins representing the reference case (CHSS). Second, the modified hemispherical distiller with fins set at 5 cm spacing (MHSS-IF5). Third, the modified hemispherical distiller with fins set at 7 cm (MHSS-IF7). Fins diameter is constant at 1.2 cm with tested length of 3, 2 and 1 cm starting from the basin absorber plate. Basin salt water is fixed at 3 cm (maximum fin length) during experiments. Results prove that fin utilization is important in performance enhancement. However, fin length effect on performance depends on spacing due to shading effect in distillers. Consequently, the fins utilization improves distiller productivity up to 56.73% with best configuration of MHSS-IF7 with 2 cm fin length and 7 cm spacing. The fins utilization is not costly in the hemispherical distiller with positive enhancement contribution leads to minimum cost per liter of produced water.Item Comparative Study of Honey Collected from Different Flora of Algeria(Journal of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, 2014) Rebiai, A; Lanez, TThe aim of the present study was to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of five Algerian unifloral types of honey. The thin films with concentration of 0.1 M were deposited at 350 °C with 2 min of deposition time. The effects of ethanol and methanol solution before and after doping on the structural, optical and electrical properties were examined. The DRX analyses indicated that ZnO films have nanocrystalline nature and hexagonal wurtzite structure with (1 0 0) and (0 0 2) preferential orientation corresponding to ZnO films resulting from methanol and ethanol solution, respectively. The crystallinity of the thin films improved with methanol solution after doping to (0 0 2) oriented. All films exhibit an average optical transparency about 90%, in the visible range. The band gaps values of ZnO thin films are increased after doping from 3.10 to 3.26 eV and 3.27 to 3.30 eV upon Al doping obtained by ethanol and methanol solution, respectively. The electrical conductivity increase from 7.5 to 15.2 (Ω cm)−1 of undoped to Al doped ZnO thin films prepared by using ethanol solution. However, for the methanol solution; the electrical conductivity of the film is stabilized after doping.Item Comparison Study Between SVM and PWM Inverter in Sliding Mode Control of Active and Reactive Power Control of a DFIG for Variable Speed Wind Energy(İlhami ÇOLAK, 2012-09-18) Bekakra, Youcef; Ben Attous, Djilanit- In this paper, we present a comparative study between space vector modulation (SVM) and pulse width modulation (PWM) inverter in sliding mode control (SMC) of active and reactive power control of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) for variable speed wind energy. Modern Structuralism, for instance, focused on the study of langue rather than parole. Their justification is that the former is a self-contained system or social product of the faculty of speech deposited in the brains of individuals as a result of numerous experiences of listening to other persons. However, parole is the manifestation of that faculty in speech. On its part, Mentalistic linguistics though viewing that individuals are predisposed with language, almost maintained the same dichotomy leading to competence and performance. Since all language irregularities occur in performance, this trend emphasizes that language study should focus on competence. However, since the early seventies the pendulum of language analysis has fallen in favor of parole. Criticizing the failure of structural and mentalistic linguistics to account for the social, physical and temporal situations that language activity is taking place in, the father of sociolinguistics, Dell Hymes (1972b) proposed a model of communicative competence comprising four sectors: possibility (langue/competence), feasibility (psycholinguistic aspect), appropriateness (context) and the frequency of occurrences of speech acts. This paper attempts to trace the conceptualization of language analysis from the perspective of sociolinguistics.
