الطعام مرآة حضارية: قراءة جديدة في هجاء بشار بن برد الشعوبي

Abstract

تهدفُ الدراسةُ إلى الكشفِ عن كيفيةِ توظيفِ بشار بن برد الحديثَ عن الطعام وما يتعلقُ به من بيان أنواعه وألوانه، وهيئته، وطريقة الحصول عليه، وأدواته، ووسائله، والأجواء التي يُطبخ ويُقدم فيها؛ للتعبير عن التحضر والعلو والرفعة، وما يقابل ذلك من البداوة والتخلف، وكيف استطاع الشاعرُ من خلال ذلك رسمَ فواصلَ واضحةٍ وحَدَّ حدودًا بيّنة بين الحضارتين العربية والفارسية. فالدراسةُ رصدٌ لحضور الطعام وإبراز دوره بوصفه مُكَوّنًا اجتماعيًّا وثقافيًّا يرمز إلى الحضارة أو البداوة في قصيدة بشار، التي تُعَدُّ من أبرز القصائد التي تجلت فيها النزعة الشعوبية في العصر العباسي. وتندرجُ هذه الدراسةُ تحت ما يُسمى بدراسات الطعام التي تمثلُ أحدَ الحقول البحثية الواعدة في الأوساط الأكاديمية. وهي تسعى إلى تحليل إستراتيجية الشاعر في هذا التوظيف الفاعل للطعام، وكيف جعل ذلك الحديثَ آليَّةً رئيسةً في هجائه اللاذع للأعرابي؛ للتمييز بين الثقافتين العربية والفارسية. وبالاستعانة بمنهجية بينيّة تحليليّة؛ تُبرزُ الورقةُ دلالاتِ هذا التوظيفِ، ودورَه الفاعل في خلع صفات قريبة من الحيوانية على الأعرابي المهجو، وهذا ينبئ عن نزعة شعوبيَّة تتجاوز ما يَعِنُّ لنا من ظاهر الهجاء الشعريِّ. الأمرُ الذي يدعو إلى إجراء مزيد من القراءات الكاشفة المتعمقة للنصوص الأدبية التي تتلون بالنزعة الشعوبية في أدبنا العربي. Abstract: This study aims to explore how Bashshār ibn Burd uses food and its related aspects—such as its types, colors, forms, methods of obtaining it, tools, and the atmosphere in which it is cooked and served—as a means of expressing notions of civilization, superiority, and refinement in contrast to Bedouin backwardness. Through this, the poet was able to draw clear divisions and define clear boundaries between the Arab and Persian civilizations. The study addresses the presence of food and highlights its role as a social and cultural component that symbolizes civilization or nomadism in Bashshār's poem, which is considered one of the most prominent poems in which the Shuʿūbī tendency was manifested in the Abbasid era. This study falls within the field of food studies, an emerging and promising area in academic scholarship. It seeks to analyze the poet’s strategic use of food references and how he made this theme a main tool in his stinging satire of the Bedouin in order to distinguish between the Arab and Persian cultures. Using an analytical interdisciplinary methodology, the paper highlights the implications of this employment and its effective role in attributing animalistic traits to the satirized Bedouin. This indicates a Shuʿūbī tendency that goes beyond what we perceive from the surface of poetic satire, which, in turn, calls for conducting an in-depth and insightful study of literary texts, that reflect Shuʿūbī ideas in the Arabic literature.
