Abstract

The recent rapid deterioration of oil prices has cast a shadow over the global economy and local economies. As far as the readings on the causes of this decline differ, the estimates differ in light of the heated debate over the issue of using oil prices as a political pressure tool. Oil is a strategic commodity subject to political considerations and decisions. More than economic approaches, so we will try to shed light on the repercussions of the decline in oil prices towards the countries importing oil and in particular exporting them because of their weight in the oil market.
