Coupling The Image Analysis And The Artificial Neural Networks To Predict A Mixing Time Of A Pharmaceutical Powder
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Mahdi, Y.; Mouhi, L.; Guemras, N.; Daoud, K.
In recent years, different laboratories were interested in predicting the mixing time of a pharmaceutical powder. In fact, a nonhomogeneous mixture may lead to under dose and/or overdose of the active ingredient in the drug product. Our study is aimed toward using a new and revolutionary approach in the field of the processes “The Artificial Neural Networks” (ANN) by using the Neural Networks ToolboxTM derived from Matlab® software. The validation of the neural network was assumed by studying others mixing powders and then we compared the experimental results to the data obtained by the neural network calculations. Experimental results were obtained from a non-destructive method (Image Analysis) which was used in order to characterize the homogeneity of powder mixture in a V-Blender as well as a Cubic Blender which are most used in the pharmaceutical industry.

(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Ghouila, Z.; Laurent, S.; Henoumont, C.; Vander Elst, L.; Muller, R. N.; Baaliouamer, A.
Conventional and non-conventional extraction methods were applied in the first time for the determination of total polyphenols from Ahmeur Bouamer, an anthoctonous variety grape seeds. Independently of the time and temperature, a positive effect of particle size parameter on maceration has been noted and relativly high concentrations in polyphenols for 500 μm (67.78 ± 0.46 mg GAE/gdm), 500-355 μm (90.95 ± 0.24 mg GAE/gdm) and 355-180 µm (114.82 ± 1.24 mg GAE/gdm) have been obtained. The higher value of yield was reached by the microwave extraction (37.74±0.32%), followed by the maceration (14.16±0.15%) and the ultrasound (6.70±0.25%). The appropriate extraction method to obtain a relatively strong antioxidant activity from seeds was the microwave with inhibition of 69.67±1.76 % and 78.05±2.05% of DPPH and ABTS+ free radicals, respectively.

Effect Of Gempehd Thermal Properties On The Propagation Of Heat In Solar Stills
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Baba Ahmed, N.; Benmoussat, A.; Aliane, K.
The properties of GEMPEHD as an absorber material in a prototype of solar still have been investigated in a temperature range from 300 K to 400 K. Results showed a dependency between temperature and its properties. The enegy absorbed by the GEMPEHD increases its temperature, the power received by the air and the air temperature. Overall losses increase with the difference of the temperature between the GEMPEHD and windows. This increases the efficiency of the solar still and minimizes the entropy of the system. The study of thermal aging is dedicated to the interpretation of various analyses the GEMPEHD before and after its use in the solar still. The thermal aging GEMPEHD in the air is a physical loss and chemical consumption immediately followed by a brutal oxidation of the polymer. The losses would be governed primarily by the chemical consumption of antioxidants

Influence Of Fluoride On The Electrochemical Behvior Of A New Synthesized Ti-10ta-2mo Alloy For Biomedical Applications
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Sadi Oufella, L.; Benchettara, A.
The aim of the present study is to investigate the corrosion resistance of a new synthesized Ti-10Ta-2Mo in 0.9%NaCl solution containing different NaF concentrations using electrochemical techniques, including open circuit potential, potentiodynamic polarization, cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The results showed that Ti-10Ta-2Mo exhibits a good corrosion resistance in 0.9% NaCl as well as in 0.9%NaCl containing fluoride and even in acidified 0.9% NaCl free of fluoride ion. Very low corrosion current densities and high impedance values were obtained, indicating the passive behavior of the alloy. An active state was observed in acidified 0.9%NaCl of pH 2 in the presence of fluoride. The results showed that Ti-10Ta-2Mo is more appropriate than some materials cited in the literature, suggesting its suitability for biomedical applications.

Rapid Extraction Of Volatile Compounds From Citrus Fruits Using A Microwave Dry Distillation
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Ferhat, M.a.; Boukhatem, M.n.; Hazzit, M.; Chemat, F.
Three different extraction methods were used for a comparative study of essential oil (EO) from fresh Citrus peels: Traditional hydrodistillation (HD), cold pressing (CP) and innovative microwave ‘dry’ distillation or microwave-accelerated distillation (MAD). The microwave process offers significant advantages over conventional alternatives, viz. shorter distillation period (30 min vs. 3 h for hydrodistillation and 1 h for cold pressing); better yields (0.24% vs. 0.21% for HD and 0.054% for CP); environmental impact (energy charge is noticeably superior for performing HD and for mechanical motors (CP) than that necessary for quick MAD assay); cleaner features (as no remains creation and no solvent or water used); raises antibacterial properties ; and offers a more precious EO (with high amounts of oxygenated compounds).

Contribution To Study The Glycoprotein Ligands Of The Cerebellar Soluble Lectin In Human K562 Tumour Cells
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Rechreche, H.; Zanetta, J.p.
Many cancer cells over-express significantly the glycoproteins specific to the endogenous cerebellar soluble lectin or CSL. These ligands may present the same electrophoretic profiles regardless of the specie or tissue. We purified a large amount of the active CSL using an immuno-affinity chromatography, which was used to isolate the CSL ligands from human tumour K562 cell lines. After protease digestion of these ligands, we analyzed the obtained peptides using reverse phase chromatography and isolated an overrepresented group that carried N-glycans and was relatively hydrophobic. Thus, we suggested that the CSL ligands have a common pepetide sequence specifically recognized by the CSL, who could direct the production of these CSL-recognized N-glycans. Moreover, we speculated that the expression deregulation of a specific exon encoding this peptide sequence alters the glycosylation in K562 tumour cells.

Characterization Qualitative And Potentialities Of Utilization Of Methacomposts Of Poultry In The Nurseries Aboveground
    (University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) M’sadak, Y.; Ben M’barek, A.
The Agricultural employment of digestates from biomethanation can be used as an alternative to peat. The solid digestate poultry (called Poultry Methacompost: PMC) can be used as a partial substitute in the manufacture of culture substrates. The humified Organic Matter (OM) of mature substrates can be adopted only with the presence of necessary conditions for the development of the plant especially: respect of pH, percentage favorable of aeration, good sanitation, balanced contents of minerals. The present work aims to evaluate three different PMC from an industrial biomethaniser; one is obtained from the digester and the other two from the decanter (during two different periods). It appears from the physico-chemical characterization undertaken the following key results: In general, the PMC has a high bulk density, insufficient porosity of aeration, while the porosity of retention largely meets the standard. The phosphor and potassium are also eligible. The warranty of quality of PMC ensures greater acceptability and facilitates the incorporation with peat for soilless horticultural plants.

Hydrothermal Complex Of The Souk Ahras Basin: Geological And Hydrogeochemical Approaches (north East Of Algeria)
    (University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Bouroubi-ouadfel, Y.; Djebbar, M.; Khiari, A.
North- East of Algeria, in The Souk Ahras region, the Triassic evaporates are in the form of important intrusive masses. Thermal and cold water emerge from various training. These sources present are taking their pathways along the faulting system. A complex multilayered reservoir has significant potential water. The karstic aquifer consists mainly on fresh water. Thermal water characterized by high salinity is carbo-gaseous. Collection and chemical analysis of major water elements in addition to nonionic mineral compounds (SiO2) and trace elements (Sr2+, F-, Br-) have determined a deep saline fluid circulation. The tectonic effect would be responsible for the current water flow. Cartography of fracturing system has identified a NNW-SSE hot spring distribution. Similar alignment can match the faulting system direction affecting the concerned study area.

Wastewater Reuse In Agriculture In The Outskirts Of The City Batna (algeria)
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Hannachi, A.; Gharzouli, R.; Djellouli Tabet, Y.; Daoud, A.
The study is based on a survey of farmers. The data collected allow us to understand the reasons for the reuse of wastewater. This resource can be an important element in irrigation water management strategy. The possibilities of wastewater reuse in agriculture are significant, as is the case in the Batna region. In this context, the presence of texts establishing the modality of wastewater reuse, are a prerequisite for promotion of wastewater reuse projects. Policymakers are faced with the need to exploit the increase in volumes to meet greater demand. To do this, the integrated management should be considered now as a public / private partnership model and as the best approach for development and efficient and sustainable management.

Daily Rainfall-runoff Modelling By Neural Networks In Semi-arid Zone: Case Of Wadi Ouahrane’s Basin
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Benzineb, K.; Remaoun, M.
This research work will allow checking efficiency of formal neural networks for flows’ modelling of wadi Ouahrane’s basin from rainfall-runoff relation which is non-linear. Two models of neural networks were optimized through supervised learning and compared in order to achieve this goal, the first model with input rain, and the second one with rain and input ETP. These neuronal models were compared with another overall model, the GR4j model. Then, it has been optimized and compared with the three first models, a third model of neural network with rain, ETP and soil moisture (calculated by the model GR4j) input. The neuronal models were optimized with algorithm of Levenberg Marquarld (LM), while the GR4j model was optimized with SCE-UA method. The Nash criterion (%) and the correlation coefficient of Pearson (R) allowed appreciating performances of these models.

The Charged Component Of The Vacuum Field As The Source Of Electric Force In The Modernized Le Sage’s Model
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Fedosin, S. G.
The formula is derived for the electric force inside a uniformly charged spherical body, as well as for the Coulomb force between the charged bodies from the standpoint of the model of the vacuum field with charged particles. The parameters of the fluxes of charged particles are estimated, including the energy density, energy flux and cross section of interaction with the charged matter. The energy density of gravitons in the Le Sage’s gravitation model is expressed in terms of the strong gravitational constant. The charge to mass ratio is determined for the charged particles that make up photons and the charged component of the gravitational field. These particles are identified as praons, while the praon level of matter is considered a lower level relative to the nucleon level of matter. The analysis of the main problems of the Le Sage’s model shows that these problems can be eliminated in the modernized model.

Analysis Of The Phenotypic Variability Of Some Varieties Of Durum Wheat (triticum Durum Desf) To Improve The Efficiency Of Performance Under The Constraining Conditions Of Semiarid Environments
    (University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Haddad, L.; Bouzerzour, H.; Benmahammed, A.; Zerargui, H.; Hannachi, A.; Bachir, A.; Salmi, M.; Oulmi, A.; Nouar, H.
The experiment was conducted during three growing seasons and two planting dates. The cultivation site is placed at the ITGC Setif characterized by a semi-arid environment. The objective of the study is the analysis of phenotypic variability of traits measured for 15 varieties of durum wheat, through the average effects, to decline the ways, characters and varieties could play in favour of performance under the constraining semi-arid conditions. The year effect indicates that given the difficulty of predicting the performance enabled by years, it then makes sense to go straight for this performance within genotypes. Analysis of the effect genotype highlights characters connected to performance and is the Setifis variety that lends itself well. For the effect of sowing date, it is that early sowing promotes a better expression of the characteristics compared to late sowing.

Effect Of Earth Discontinued To The Electrical Field Distribution In Rod-plane Air Gaps Under Lightning Impulse
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2016-09-01) Khechekhouche, A.; Ben Attous, D.
This paper, will present some results of investigations carried out on electric field distribution on the surface of a discontinuous plane of short rod-plane air gap arrangement. For this purpose, we have used different results obtained by an experimental model and a numerical method for computation used the finite elements methods (FEM). The effect of interface on the field stress has also been studied, As a result, the interface locally reinforces the electric field, and then the electric field increases at the interface may lead to a discharge between the high voltage rode and the interface. In the vicinity of the interface, we have observed a kind of discontinuity in the evolution of the electric field intensity. This latter becomes greater than the value obtained in the case of gaps with homogeneous plane earth. The electric field distribution, obtained by means of the computational procedure, is in good agreement with the experimental results.
