    تسعى الكاتبة مليكة مقدم في نصها المهاجرون الأبديون إلى وضع سلسلة لا متناهية من دوائر الفتك بسلطوية الرجل، ومكانة حكمه السابقة. فهي تريد لكل شخوص عملها السردي أن يتحدَّوا فكرة الخضوع والخنوع على اعتبار الثورة على المستوى الفكري هي الأصلح لتحقيق تجانس قوي بين ما يعرف بالوعي والحقيقة، محاربة في ذلك كل الأيديولوجيات التي يمكن لحقبة زمنية معينة ليس فقط تبنيها، بل تتعداها إلى تطويرها لتصبح نموذجا فكريا غير قابل للتغير والتسوية بتاتا. ثورة الوعي إذن ما يساعد سلسلة الأدوار السردية من التحرك بسلاسة ضمن منطق السرد. كما أنها هي المحرك الأساسي الذي تتغذى منه جل الشخوص التي تتناوب داخل المعمار الروائي من أجل هدف واحد هو التحرر من أيديولوجيات سائدة غير قابلة للتبدد. The writer Malika Mokadam, seeks in her text to create an endless series of circles calling for the elimination of male power.
