Abstract

Abstract for English: The aim of this study is to shed light on the role of the Internet, its uses and utilization, and to benefit from its applications in the scientific research of university professors and their effects on their job performance. The study followed the analytical descriptive approach that was appropriate for the nature of this study which is interested in investigating the opinions of the university professors on their use of the Internet and their evaluation of this network, and through conducting the field study we reached the following results: - University professors benefit from e-mail services for scientific purposes. - The majority of university professors rely on the network in preparation for student lectures and in preparing their scientific messages such as Masters, PhD and university qualification. - Most university professors use the Internet in their relations with the university administration and with their students and with their colleagues for scientific purposes and in cooperation among them in the framework of the job. - that the university professors expressed their satisfaction with the Internet offers them a variety of services in the field of scientific research.
