Abstract

Since the first constitution of the Algerian Republic was promulgated in 1963 until the constitutional amendment of the year 2020, the constitutional founder in Algeria has been concerned with the power of the president of the Republic, since he is ahead of all other institutions in terms of constitutional processing, this makes the president of the Republic occupy a privileged position as the with his relationship with that Parliament. We note that the constitutional founder sought to reduce the powers of the president of the Republic in the 2020 Constitution, especially in the legislative sphere while maintaining the strong position of the president of the Republic.
