Abstract
Marxism is the dominant theory during the nineteenth century. It is concerned with the struggle between the different social classes. Class Struggle is the major issue of the nineteenth literary works, and many writers dealt with this issue in their writings. The present study aims to shed light on the class struggle aspect in E M Forster's novel "Howards End". It analyzes the novel from a Marxist view since EM Forster's novel "Howards End" has not ever been analyzed by Marxist perspective. The research attempts to identify the Class Struggle that exists within and between the different social classes in "Howards End". Hence, in this research work, Marxist theory is used to read the novel through the lenses of Karl Marx and identify the main areas of the conflict. In fact, the novel is written to emphasize Karl Marx's notion that class struggle creates new relations between the different social classes. Therefore, Howards End gathers the three struggled families despite their different ideas, thoughts, and interests.
