Abstract

This research aims at studying the imperative form respectively mentioned in El-Hadith of the Prophet Mohamed (peace of God be upon him) at the Meadows of the Righteous. However, the imperative form is one of the most important language uses in the human’s life situations either scientifically or practically. As a result, different linguists gave it much importance. They studied it from different sides grammatically, syntactically and rhetorically. Furthermore, the imperative is an explicative form, and Arabians used it in their speech seeking different objectives. They used it, however in two different manners: positively and negatively. Whereas the prophet Mohamed (peace of God be upon him) is one of the Arabian, who is actually speaks their language and utilizes its forms. Thus he has used the imperative form as to explain his Proselytism. However, the main objectives he needs to achieve through using the imperative are to get people warned and reinforced to their religion. Therefore, he has succeeded through using and inserting the imperative in his discourse. Furthermore, the imperative hasn’t been discussed in El Hadith, in spite of its rhetoric and standardized language. Besides, it uses different forms of the imperative which have remarkable effects on the meaning as well as its interpretations. This fact pushes me to make a research accordingly.
