Abstract
Throughout history, the relationship between the United States of America (USA) and the United
Kingdom (UK) has been described as "special". Its significance is related to the nature of the
relations that linked these two countries after the Second World War, these relations have
changed over time with the changes of the quality of leadership on both sides (USA and UK).
This study aims to investigate the impact of the Trump administration on US-UK relationships to
give a clear understanding of their partnership during the Trump Era. The present dissertation is
a qualitative research based on a historical descriptive method to properly answer the research
questions. In this respect, the dissertation is divided into three chapters. It traces back the history
of the Anglo-American relationships before and after WW2, in addition to representing an
overview of President Donald Trump and how he dealt with the US foreign policy. Finally, it
discusses how was the reality of US-UK relations during Trump's mandate, and its influence on
the different areas of cooperation. In the end, the study reveals that during Trump’s presidency,
the relationship between the US and UK remained strong and consistent, as well as the apparent
flexibility between their leaders.
