Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effects of social networks on family relationships from the university professor's point of view. Among the most central questions of the study are: What are the habits and patterns of the respondents' use of social networks? What are the motives for using social networks from the university professor's point of view? What is the extent of the impact of social networks on family relations from the point of view of the university professor? One of the most prominent hypotheses of this study is that there is an increase in the use of social networks from the point of view of the university professor. And the motives of using social networks to meet the needs and requirements from the point of view of the university professor. The negative impact of social networks on family relationships from the university professor's point of view. As for the methodology, we used the descriptive method, and the tools used in this study are the questionnaire. The study sample consists of 24 university professors. The most prominent results of this study are: - Using social networks in the positive aspects and staying away from the negative aspects. - Social networks greatly affect relationships within the family. - Family problems and disagreements. - Parents must monitor their children so that this does not lead to neglect and indifference within the family. - Using these networks to consolidate family relationships.
