Abstract

Résumé :انجلزية The study is based on the concept of citizenship in its different dimensions (sense of belonging, preservation of environment, environment, rights and duties, participation in public space and preservation of public property). As a result, weused the descriptive approachusing a content analysistool. The sample in the Civic Education Book for the yearwas the new generation of intermediatelearning stage. The analysis unit in thisstudyis the word. Afteranalyzing the content of the book, wefound the followingresults: The contents of the knowledge of the book of civiceducation for the second yearaverageincluded the concept of citizenship in itsdifferent dimensions whereitwasstatedafter the rights and duties by (58.22%) and took control of this concept shows the aspiration of the Algerian educationallegislator on the importance of this dimension in achieving balance between the people and the state Unfortunatelyafter the participation in public space by (4.99%), althoughitisdesigned to stimulatestudent participation in many areas thatprovide services to the community.
