Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to uncover the role of social networks in enhancing intellectual security among university youth. The problem of the study centered on a main question: Does social networking contribute to enhancing the intellectual security of university youth? This study has sought to achieve the following objectives: - Investigating the concept of intellectual security as one of the most recent topics. - Revealing the extent of Facebook's contribution to enhancing the intellectual security of university students. In this study, the researcher relied on descriptive descriptive method. The study was evaluated by (60) male and female students from the University of Shaheed Hama Lakhdar in Eloued selected by the method of purpose. In this study, the questionnaire was used as a research tool. It consisted of 30 questions, which included four main themes: personal data, religion, national identity, security awareness, and the following results: - Most respondents believe that Facebook does not contribute to the promotion of religious bias. - Most respondents believe that Facebook contributes to strengthening their national affiliation. - Most respondents believe that Facebook contributes to enhancing their security awarene
