دراسة بيولوجية وفيتو كيميائية لنبات الخبيز L. Malva sylvestris

Abstract

This biological and phyto-chemical study on Malva sylvestris L plant has been done for the appraisal of certain natural plants in El Oued region. This anatomic study has covered, the roots, the stem, and the leaves and results in confirming the existence of alkaloids, tannins , with the absence of Sabonisides , sterols and triterpenes. Also, to measure the quantity of poly phenols resulted in 0,295 mg EAG /mg. Morever, by to measure the quantity of flavonoïdes resulted in 0,098 mg EQ/mg. And through the evaluation of the antioxidant activity of the leaf ethanol extract by the use of DPPH probe system, the results have shown that an ethanol extract amount of IC50has given 301.64 ug/ml. With regard to the antibacterial activity results, it appears that bacteria Pseudomonas eaeruginosa has shown weak sensitivity against the alcoholic extract with a rate equal to 9 mm, where the following samples: E-coli ،Staphylococcus aureus,Salmonella sp, Enterococcus faecium, Bacillus typhi, Micrococcus, Vibrio cholérae , have not shown any sensitivity.
