Abstract

This study aims at the increasing and important role of the sovereign wealth funds to support economic growth and development and to achieve high levels of economic well-being in the countries that have been established. This study shows that these funds are of great importance to support indicators of economic stability due to the large financial surpluses created by these funds, Including Algeria, which set up a fund to control the revenues in 2000 , collected in the surplus of the general budget, which was exploited to address the budget deficit and reduce the rate of national debt and support the GDP.
