Abstract

This study aims to measure the direct and indirect impact of financial inclusion on the economic growth of Algeria, based on annual data for the period between (2004 and 2019), and to achieve this goal, it was relied on the R program. The results of the study concluded that there is a direct positive impact of financial inclusion on the economic growth of Algeria, and that there are several channels of indirect influence, so that the impact is positive or negative depending on the channel through which it is transmitted, among the most important of these channels, we find both the investment channel and the public expenditure channel, so that the indirect effect that is transmitted through it is positive, in addition to the exchange rate channel and the inflation channel, which transmits the negative impact of financial inclusion to Algeria’s economic growth.
