Abstract

Developing countries in particular are working to provide an investment environment more attractive to foreign and domestic fugitive investments, to offer various different facilities in order to provide an environment conducive to the stability of these investments and reduce the migration of domestic investments. The study aims to study the free zones in the UAE and their relation to foreign trade. The UAE free zones have developed since their inception and the percentage of foreign direct investment within them has increased compared to local investments, which is an ideal tool that contributes to achieving multiple objectives of the state. , Contributing to the development of its exports, providing employment opportunities for its citizens and benefiting from foreign expertise, it has expanded in the establishment of these areas, so it has diversified and developed its work to become an economic phenomenon based on it to become the main locomotive of the economy contributing to further economic growth, greater prosperity and urbanization of its citizens. In general, the free zones in the United Arab Emirates have succeeded in achieving their objectives through the trade movement and what it added to the region in general and to countries in particular, and attracting major international projects to turn the UAE from desert to cities above the sea
