Abstract

This studyaimed to investigate the relationshipbetweeneconomicgrowth as an endogenous variable, and financialdevelopmentindicators as explanatory variables, whilestudying the case of Algeria, by applying the Autoregressivedistributed Lags (ARDL) methodology. The results reached after estimating the model were that economic growth in Algeria is determined by the foreign trade sector, represented by the sum of exports and imports as a proportion of the gross domestic product, while the rest of the explanatory variables are It is not statistically significant and therefore its impact on economic growth cannot be separated.
