dc.description.abstractThis study sought to find out about the trends of undergraduate students towards content makers on the social media site Instagram to answer the main question: What is the tendency of university students towards content makers on the social media site Instagram? The following sub-questions are asked: - Do students get information and news from content makers on Instagram? - Do Instagram content makers play opinion leaders' roles? - Are Instagram content makers in negative or positive roles? Based on the descriptive curriculum; The questionnaire and observation as study tools, distributed to a 100-strong class sample (quota) of media students. The study found several results, the most important of which were: - The majority of students interviewed agreed that it was the ease of use of the social media website Instagram that helped to spread content makers. - Students seeking to support content makers by sharing their Instagram posts on their own account. - The majority of students interviewed agreed on the contribution of content makers on Instagram in shaping public opinion. Students interviewed agreed that content makers on Instagram were more willing to give information. - The researchers agreed that Instagram content makers were changing their attitudes towards specific issues. Based on previous findings, after addressing the features of the social media site Instagram, and content makers, it became clear to us that they could be classified as opinion leaders since they had the ability to form others.en_US
