dc.description.abstractإن النتيحة السلبية للحروب على البيئة ولإعتبارات تتعلق بضرورة حمايتها, كان من ثمارها أن بدأت النظم القانونية العالمية في وضع موضوعات البيئة وحمايتها ضمن أولويات إهتماماتها, ولكون القانون الدولي للبيئة فرع لا يهتم إلا بقضايا البيئة أثناء فترة السلم فكان لا بد من إدراج حماية البيئة في قوانين النزاعات المسلحة, الآ وهو القانون الدولي الإنساني. وبإعتبار اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر هي الراعي الرسمي للقانون الدولي الإنساني وحارسه الأمين, وذلك على أساس التفويض الإنساني الممنوح لها بمقتضى إتفاقيات جنيف الأربعة لسنة 1949 وبروتوكوليها الإضافيين لسنة 1977, فإن اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر تسعى إلى تطوير وتفعيل قواعد لحماية البيئة أثناء النزاعات المسلحة.en_US
