Abstract
The aim of this study was to find out the relation of job satisfaction to the
organizational commitment, a field study on the workers of the municipality of Sidi
Amran and started by asking the following question:
Is there a statistically significant correlation between job satisfaction and
organizational commitment among the workers of Sidi Amran municipality?
The descriptive approach was adopted because it is most appropriate to know the
reality, aspects, description and analysis of the study. The sample was selected in a
simple random way, estimated at 80 workers. A questionnaire consisting of 3 axes
First: Dedicated to personal data.
The second is dedicated to job satisfaction. This axis consists of 15 items divided
into 3 dimensions (wage, promotion, work group).
Third: Dedicated to the organizational commitment and this axis consists of 10
phrases.
The study concluded with a set of results:
There is no significant correlation between job satisfaction and organizational
commitment among the workers of SidiAmran municipality.
There is no significant correlation between the wages and the organizational
commitment of the workers of SidiAmran municipality.
There is no significant correlation between the promotion and the
organizational commitment of the workers of SidiAmran municipality.
There is a significant correlation between the work group and the
organizational commitment among the workers of SidiAmran municipality
