Abstract

Summary of the study This study aimed to identify the relationship between career concerns and ideas of rationality and irrationality to university students, and disclosure at the level of career concerns, ideas of rationality and irrationality of the students, as well as detecting the differences between males and females, and the differences between the students of social science and science students, at the level of career concerns and ideas of rationality and irrationality. This study has been applied to a sample number (200) students, the third year of College of Shahid Hamma Lakhdar – ELOUED – and to collect data we used tools first to identify career concern, and second to test the ideas of rationality and irrationality, and were followed by the descriptive relational, stylistic comparison. Been checking psychometric properties of the instruments by using honesty virtual, self-honesty, truthfulness, discriminatory, and retail halftones. After applying the instruments study analyzed the data using statistical package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to calculate the correlation coefficient ' Pearson ', and test (t) for indication of the differences between the averages and the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, the following conclusions were reached:  There is a statistically significant correlation between career concerns and ideas of rationality and irrationality to undergraduate students.  The level of concern the career of University students is high.  There are significant differences between average male and female average career concern scale.  There are significant differences in the level of concern the career between students of social sciences and Technological Sciences students.  The level of irrational ideas students collectors is high.  There are significant differences between average male and female average scale ideas of rationality and irrationality.  There are significant differences in the level of rational and irrational thoughts among students of social sciences and Technological Sciences students. The results were discussed and interpreted in the light of the theoretical heritage of previous studies and concluded a series of recommendations and suggestion
