This work aims to value plant latex extracted from some Algerian desert plant species, by conducting a phytochemical study and estimating some of its biological activities. In order to implement this study, the latex of Euphorbia guyoniana and Calotropis procera was collected from the Wilaya of El-Oued and Illizi respectively, after drying the latex, a series of biological tests were performed on it. The results revealed that the latex of C. procera and E. guyoniana with a value of (85.41mgGAE/g Latex) and (82.07mgGAE/g Latex) respectively, compared to latex manufactured with C. procera nano and E. guyoniana nano with a value of (63.85 mg GAE/g Latex nano ) and (57.05 mg GAE/g Latex nano), respectively. While the quantitative content of flavonoids was estimated, and the highest value was recorded for latex (E. guyoniana) with an estimated value of (63.26mg QE/g Latex nano) and (20.40mgQE/g Latex). Compared with latex (C. procera nano) with successive values (14.95 mg QE/g Latex nano) and (7.41 mg QE/g Latex). In Antioxidant activity, the results of the DPPH•, FRAP, and β-Carotene tests. The C. procera extract demonstrated inhibitory activity with IC50 values of 0.59 and 1.84 mg/ml for DPPH and FRAP tests, respectively. The E. guyoniana extract showed significant activity in the β-Carotene test with an IC50 value of 0.03 mg/ml. The red blood cell lysis test (Hémolyse) indicated that the C. procera nano extract had the lowest percentage of lysis (12.44%). The nano extract of E. guyoniana showed superiority in terms of anti￾inflammatory activity with a protection percentage of 42.857% and had the highest sun protection factor (SPF) of 92.4. The latex extracts exhibited significant antibacterial activity, with the E. guyoniana nano extract showing the largest inhibition zone (14 mm) against Staphylococcus aureus. In conclusion, the plant latex extracts of C. procera and E. guyoniana showed varying abilities in antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial activities.en_US
