Abstract

Abstract This study aims at revealing the effect of Turkish soap operas on the values of youth in the Soviet society, and included in this question a number of questions as follows: -What are the motives of watching young Turkish series? -What is the impact of Turkish soap operas on youth behavior? The study was based on the descriptive approach in order to identify the reasons for the influence of youth values in the Turkish series and explain the reasons for this. The sample was an intentional sample on 50 students from the third year sociology and followers of the Turkish series. %65 -of the respondents believe that the Turkish soap operas provide them with aesthetic and entertaining rumors (the beauty of the heroes of the series and the beauty of life experienced by the heroes). %04 -of the respondents wish to have a romantic story like the story of the Turkish series.
