Abstract

Study summary: This study aimed to try to identify the reality of the use of information and communication technologies in distance education at the University of the valley from the point of view of university professors, through a field study conducted on a sample of professors, who numbered 123 professors.the members of this sample were identified using the occasional sample. in this study, we relied on the descriptive analytical method to describe and analyze the subject of the study, and we used the questionnaire as a tool to collect information and data. The most important results of the study: • The University professor has several skills and competencies about the use of modern technology, including skills related to dealing with programs, tools, devices and modern technologies, and the skill of employing these technologies as well as the skill of using the global network. • The mobile phone and the computer are the most widely used tools and means of distance education for university professors, while other technological means are not as widely used by professors. • Information and communication technology has a good place in the field of distance education for the professors of the University of the oued and this is reflected in the advantages that are characterized by the most important: facilitating the educational process, changing the level of education for the better, creating an atmosphere of interaction between the professor and the student and providing opportunities for learning. • The information and communication technology used in distance education is characterized by several significant disadvantages, including: the reduction of the role of the professor and psychological and physical problems. • The University professor faces difficulties when using information and Communication Technology in distance education, the most important of which are: weak internet flow, weak infrastructure and the failure of the university to provide all the necessary technological means. الملخص هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى محاولة التعرف على واقع استخدام تكنولوجيات الإعلام والاتصال في التعليم عن بعد بجامعة الوادي من وجهة نظر الأساتذة الجامعيون، وذلك من خلال دراسة ميدانية تم إجراؤها على عينة من الأساتذة، الذي بلغ عددهم 123 أستاذ وأستاذة، وتم تحديد أفراد هذه العينة باستخدام العينة العرضية وقد اعتمدنا في هذه الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي من أجل وصف وتحليل موضوع الدراسة، كما استخدمنا الاستبيان كأداة لجمع المعلومات والبيانات. ومن أهم نتائج الدراسة: • يمتلك الأستاذ الجامعي عدة مهارات وكفايات حول استخدام التكنولوجيا الحديثة، منها مهارات متعلقة بالتعامل مع البرامج والأدوات والأجهزة والتقنيات الحديثة، ومهارة توظيف هذه التكنولوجيات وكذا مهارة استخدام الشبكة العالمية. • يمثل الهاتف النقال وجهاز الحاسوب أكثر الأدوات والوسائل المستخدمة في عملية التعليم عن بعد في نظر الأساتذة الجامعيون، في حين الوسائل التكنولوجية الأخرى لا تحظى بنفس درجة الاستخدام لدى الأساتذة. • لتكنولوجيا الإعلام والاتصال مكانة لا بأس بها في مجال التعليم عن بعد بالنسبة لأساتذة جامعة الوادي وهذا يتجلى في الإيجابيات التي تتميز بها من أهمها: تسهيل العملية التعليمية وتغيير مستوى التعليم إلى الأحسن وخلق جو من التفاعل بين الأستاذ والطالب وإتاحة فرص للتعلم. • كما تتسم تكنولوجيا الإعلام والاتصال المستخدمة في التعليم عن بعد بعدة سلبيات بارزة منها: تقليص دور الأستاذ ومشاكل نفسية وجسدية. • يواجه الأستاذ الجامعي صعوبات عند استخدامه لتكنولوجيا الإعلام والاتصال في التعليم عن بعد من أهمها: ضعف تدفق الإنترنت وضعف البنى التحتية وعدم توفير الجامعة لكافة الوسائل التكنولوجية اللازمة.
