Abstract

This topic deals with the image of women in a novel “Regions of fear” for Fadilah El FAROUK .This study consists of an introduction and two chapters followed by a conclusion and the appendix. The introduction seek the concept of women's novel، its characteristics، its function، its aims and objectives، and a short cut to El FAROUK’s novelistic experience as an active feminist voice، and writer، including the aesthetic of her novel (regions of fear) in the dissemination of the principles of feminist writing. In the first chapter، which entitled the aggressor، the victim is opened about the nominal significance of the personality. Then we discussed the main points of the chapter: First identity card، second، the appearance chronology، thirdly the ideology of appearance and then concluded about what came in it. The second chapter entitled the victim of the aggressor، opened in it about the concept of narrative personality، and we discussed its three dimensions as basic points in this chapter: First physiological dimension، Second، psychological dimension، Third، the social dimension، ending with the conclusion.
