The Ukrainian War and its Repercussions on the UK.

Abstract

The conflict started when Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 without military measures, than in 2022 declared a full scale invasion on Ukraine to stop the West expansion in Ukraine near to its borders and to not let Ukraine enlist in NATO. This dissertation investigates the roots and reasons of the War between Ukraine and Russia and the repercussions of this war on the United Kingdom it also discusses the relations between Britain and Ukraine and its role in this conflict. This study aims to provide a full understanding of the Ukrainian war throughout the history and its impacts on the United Kingdom. It uses the historical and descriptive methods to provide a historical timeline and connections to the present events and to describe these events. The research concludes that the United States and the Western European countries are the main reasons behind this war to realize their goals in Ukraine and this will be a threat to the Russian border as Ukraine is Russia’s cultural heritage city in the world. بدأ الصراع عندما ضمت روسيا شبه جزيرة القرم في عام 2014 دون إجراءات عسكرية ، ثم أعلنت في عام 2022 غزوًا واسع النطاق لأوكرانيا لوقف التوسع الغربي في أوكرانيا بالقرب من حدودها وعدم السماح لأوكرانيا بالانضمام إلى الناتو. تبحث هذه المذكرة في جذور وأسباب الحرب بين أوكرانيا وروسيا وانعكاسات هذه الحرب على المملكة المتحدة ، كما تناقش العلاقات بين بريطانيا وأوكرانيا ودورها في هذا الصراع. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقديم فهم كامل للحرب الأوكرانية عبر التاريخ وتأثيراتها على المملكة المتحدة. منهج البحث المتبع هو المنهج التاريخي والوصفي لتقديم جدول زمني تاريخي وصلات للأحداث الحالية ووصف هذه الأحداث. ومن خلال هذا البحث تبين أن الولايات المتحدة ودول أوروبا الغربية هي السبب الرئيسي وراء هذه الحرب لتحقيق أهدافها في أوكرانيا ، و يمثل هذا تهديدًا للحدود الروسية بما أن أوكرانيا هي مدينة التراث الثقافي الروسي في العالم.
