ترجمات القرآن الكريم إلى اللغة الإنجليزية من الفعل الاستشراقي إلى العمل الأكاديمي دراسة مقارنة

Abstract

تعد ترجمة القرآن الكريم من أهم مواضيع الدراسات القرآنية وهي من أكثر الأمور التي خاض فيها المستشرقون وعليه كان هذا البحث بعنوان "ترجمات القرآن الكريم إلى اللغة الإنجليزية من الفعل الاستشراقي الى العمل الأكاديمي-دراسة مقارنة-"،يبحث في إشكالية هذه الترجمات وصحتها، وما حمله المستشرقون فيها من مغالطات، وتناول هذا البحث تاريخ الترجمات الاستشراقية ثم وقف عند نماذج تطبيقية وأعلامهم وقارنها بالترجمات الأكاديمية، اعتمد البحث على المنهج المقارن من خلال مقارنة النماذج للسورتين الإخلاص والكافرون للترجمات الاستشراقية والترجمات الأكاديمية وقد خلص هذا البحث إلى نتائج أهمها: يخلص البحث إلى أن هناك تباينا بين الترجمات الأكاديمية والترجمات الاستشراقية لا على مستوى الدقة فحسب، بل على مستوى الفهم العميق للنص القرآني. The translation of the Holy Qur’an constitutes a central concern in Qur’anic studies and remains one of the most contested fields among Orientalist scholars. This Master’s thesis, entitled “Translations of the Holy Qur’an into English: From Orientalist Endeavors to Academic Scholarship – A Comparative Study,” explores the critical issues surrounding these translations, particularly their fidelity and the distortions often introduced by Orientalist interpretations. The study traces the historical development of Orientalist translations, examines prominent figures and representative examples, and juxtaposes them with academic translations. Adopting a comparative analytical methodology, the research focuses on selected translations of Surah Al-Ikhlas and Surah Al-Kafirun. The findings demonstrate a marked divergence between Orientalist and academic translations, not only in terms of linguistic precision but more profoundly in the depth of comprehension and engagement with the Qur’anic message.
