This study investigates the use of Moringa oleifera in traditional medicine among El Oued residents. The research aims to document the usage methods, ailments treated, and observed side effects. We conducted a survey with 86 participants from Geumar, El Oued, and El Bayada, including (72.09% ) women and (27.91%) men across various age groups. The results show that Moringa oleifera treats diabetes (27.91%), anemia (11.63%), obesity and Intestinal gas (10.47% each), hypertension (9.30%), and several other conditions in smaller proportions. The study reveals that (89.53% )of participants do not engage in sports, but (58%) have high physical activity, according to the transportation they used. Most users obtain Moringa oleifera from herbal shops (59.30%) and use it in dried form (88.37%), with leaves being the most utilized part (96.51%). The findings highlight the positive therapeutic effects of Moringa oleifera, with (89%) of cases reporting rapid effects and (97.67%) experiencing no side effects. Dosage, physical activity, and the type of plant consumed all have an impact on efficacy. Home-grown Moringa oleifera showed faster response times due to immediate usage and reduced storage impacts. The study concludes that increased physical activity and higher doses enhance Moringa oleifera's effectiveness, leading to greater absorption and faster therapeutic outcomes. These results underscore the significance of dose-response relationships and the benefits of consistent, higher doses for chronic conditions, contributing to prolonged therapeutic effects and overall health improvements .
