Abstract

The study aimed to explore the extent to which the university's website contributes to enhancing the visibility of academic research. To achieve this goal, a descriptive methodology was adopted, allowing us to analyze the phenomenon in a precise and organized manner. The study was conducted on a non-probability simple selected purposefully, focusing on individuals knowledgeable about the visibility of academic research. We relied on the questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection, due to its flexibility and accuracy in gathering information from the targeted sample. The questionnaires included a set of questions designed to measure the extent of faculty members' engagement with the website, their evaluation of its quality and effectiveness, and the impact it has on the research process and academic communication. The study concluded with several important findings, the most notable of which are: Continuous Engagement with the Website: The results showed that university faculty members regularly follow the university's website, indicating its significance as a crucial tool in their daily work and in accessing academic resources and essential information. Positive Image of the University: The university's website reflects a positive image of the institution through its good design and precise organization of information, enhancing the university's reputation and contributing to attracting students and researchers from around the world. Need for Development: Despite the current benefits of the website, the study revealed a pressing need for its development to be more effective in assisting faculty members with their research. This requires improvements in the research search system and the provision of advanced technological tools that support the research process. Spaces for Communication: The study emphasized the importance of the website including dedicated spaces for communication between faculty members and students. This includes discussion forums, chat rooms, and comment tools, which can enhance academic interaction and provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and information. These findings highlight the crucial role that the university's website plays in the academic environment and underscore the necessity for continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of faculty and students.
