Abstract
Emmanuel Levinas opposes the priority given to the ontological interpretation of the
Western philosophical tradition as the ego is the center of existence, which in Levinas view of self-
.centeredness and centeredness on ego and egoism
Levinas tries to transcend the ontological interpretation of the relativity of the ego to the
other, to establish a new antithesis based on Kogito goodness. Others: to be, to be the other, that is,
to be good. If the Western philosophical heritage determines the rights of the other ego, the
philosophy of Levinas establishes the other's privileges. In Levinas' view, human rights are the
other human rights based on the principles of love and responsibility towards each other. In addition
.to the good-neighborliness of the other, humanity is the embodiment of the idea of living together
