Abstract
This work presents a sliding mode control for
wind energy conversion system based on a Doubly Fed Induction
Generator (DFIG). The power transfer between the stator and
the network is achieved by acting on the rotor signals via a
bidirectional converter. Our objective is to apply this control to
command independently the active and the reactive power
generated by the DFIG. Simulation results on a 10 kW DFIG
system are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and
robustness of the proposed control strategy during variations of
active and reactive power and machine parameters, based on
software MATLAB / SIMULINK.
