CONTRIBUTION TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE STABILITY OF AN OPEN PIT MINE: CASE OF THE KEF ESSNOUN PHOSPHATE MINE, TEBESSA NORTH-EAST ALGERIA
    (university of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2019-06-01) A., Tabet1,; I., Nouioua1,; C., Fehdi1,; O., . Zerzour2,; Y., Mehidi1
The problems related to slope stability in open pits have become increasingly complicated, where the stability of the terraces and embankments have a greater influence on the productivity and longevity of the mine, this instability can cause enormous damage to personnel and equipment. In this work, the stability analysis begins with a fieldwork where we could see the mine plan, the geometry of the steps, their heights, the different geological formations ... etc. In this way we have studied the stability of the steps of the kef essnoun open pit by the applying the rock mass classification systems and the calculation of the safety factor by the limit equilibrium method. The results obtained from the empirical analyze RMR, SMR and the limit equilibrium method is in general the same, where the marl layer is the probable cause of a massive instability.

DESIGN, SIMULATION AND REALIZATION OF A COMPACT DUAL BAND MEANDERED COUPLER
    (university of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2019-06-01) R., El Bouslemti1; . F., Salah-Belkhodja2
Telecommunication systems increasingly require the use of miniaturized passive microwave components. One of these is the directional coupler, a four-port component intended to distribute power to two output ports, the fourth port being isolated. This paper proposes a dual-band branch-line coupler (BLC) with an extremely compact microstrip structure. The application of meandering lines as the coupler’s central connector yields dual-band operation. HFSS is used to optimize the device and to verify its transmission characteristics. This yields a design of a coupler with a footprint is 23×34.6 mm², operating at 1.65 / 3.30 GHz, with ports that can be adapted to a load impedance of 50 Ohm. To validate the model, the coupler is fabricated using microstrip technology on a FR4 substrate. A good agreement between measurement and simulation results is obtained. The coupler achieves an excellent isolation of –42.41 dB and a transmission loss of only –2.29 dB at 3.30 GHz.

DETERMINATION OF THE BINDING PARAMETERS OF THE ADDUCT 3-NITRO PHENYLFERROCENE-DNA USING CYCLIC VOLTAMETRY, ELECTRONIC SPECTROSCOPY AND MOLECULAR DOCKING SIMULATION
    (university of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2019-06-01) H., . Ben amara*,; , . Lanez T.
Binding parameters of the interaction of 3-Nitrophenylferrocene (3FcNO2) with DNA, has been measured by cyclic voltametry (CV) and electronic spectroscopy (Uv-Vis). The obtained results were validated by molecular docking (MD) using AutoDock Tools software. CV results further indicated that 3FcNO2 interact to DNA by hydrogen bonding with binding constant and binding free energy values equal to 7.59×104 M−1 and −27.85 KJ.mol-1 respectively. These values were in a good agreement with those obtained from Uv-Vis measurements. The diffusion coefficient values of the free and bounded 3FcNO2 with DNA obtained from CV experiments were respectively equal to 9.71×10-8 and 4.33×10-9, this finding further confirm the formation of 3FcNO2-DNA adduct. Binding parameters were also estimated by MD, the obtained values were identical to experimental results.

EFFECT OF BANDELITATION OF IMMAGES ON COMPRESSION BY ALGORITHM SPECK
    (university of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2019-06-01) M., Hettiri*1,; Z. E., Baarir1.; A., Ouafi1,; A., Taleb-ahmed2
The bandelets representation (the bandelitation) effectively gives the contours of the images thanks to the orthogonal bases of bandelets as well as the zones of homogeneous regularity in the form of a residue decomposed in wavelets. The orthonormal framework makes it possible to obtain theoretical results on the approximation capabilities of this representation showing their interest with respect to the two-dimensional separable wavelet bases. However, it remains to confirm these elements by numerical results of compression. We propose in this work a new approach based on the bandelitation effect on the SPECK algorithm "Set Partionning Embedded bloCK". The proposed approach manipulates the coefficients less because it is characterized by additional decorrelations in the exploitation of the geometry of the image.

EFFECT OF THE CALCINATION TEMPERATURE ON THE OXYGEN EVOLUTION REACTION OVER Pr6O11 OXIDE
(university of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2019-06-01) E., Omari*; Z., Ben Adel,; M., Omari*
The Pr6O11 oxide synthesized using the citrate sol-gel method was calcined at four temperatures 600, 700, 800 and 900 °C. The prepared powder was characterized by DTA-TGA, XRD, IR, SEM and cyclic voltammetry. The thermal analysis shows an endothermic peak at 765°C attributed the pure cubic phase. XRD diffraction pattern reveal that three phases Pr2CO5, Pr4O7 and Pr6O11 coexist at 600°C. At T ≥ 700°C, the secondary phases Pr2CO5, Pr4O7 disappear while the phase Pr6O11 becomes alone indicating the formation of the pure cubic phase. The microstructural analysis shows that powders are constituted from particles having different shape, size and are agglomerated. The electrocatalytic properties of samples were investigated using cyclic voltammetry. The better electroactivity performance was achieved for the lower calcined electrode.

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION AND MODELING OF THE ELECTRIC FIELD DISTRIBUTION IN LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM
(university of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2019-06-01) A., . Khechekhouche*; T., Guia,; A., Hima
The study presented in this paper highlights the electric field distribution of mutually horizontal and vertical lightning conductors with discontinuous earth. The conductors may be located in both higher or lower earth part. The electric field distribution was resolved in the case of lightning conductor placed between the high voltage rod and the discontinuity (interface). For this aim, we have used different results obtained by a numerical method for computation and an experimental model tested the efficacy of the finite elements methods (FEM). In some configurations the electric field distribution on the plan are less significant than definite by the electro-geometrical configuration. We suggested that effect to the grand field strength at the discontinuity part, which decrease the lightning conductor capture consequence. The results of this study are in harmony with the study relating to the electrical stress of such air gaps devoid of lightning

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF RHEOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF VISCOELASTIC FLUIDS
    (university of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2019-06-01) S., .Youcefi1,; A., Youcefi2
The rheological analysis of the polymer solutions is studied experimentally using a cone-plate rheometer. The rheograms obtained for various forms of stress show that these solutions have a non-Newtonian character very marked and their behavior is perfectly marked by a rheological model type Ostwald de Waele or power- law. The evolution of the rheological characteristics of these solutions is studied as a function of the temperature, concentration and the age of the organic solute. Detailed analysis of the relationships governing this development highlights the emergence of simple correlations between consistency and behavior index generally are considered independent

EXTRACTION OF ANTIOXIDANT PHENOLIC COMPOUNDS FROM ALGERIAN INULA VISCOSA LEAVES: INFLUENCE OF THE HARVEST PERIOD AND OPTIMIZATION
(university of eloued جامعة الوادي, 2019-06-01) S., Amrouche*; F., Mohellebi,; R., . Derriche
The aqueous extraction of polyphenols from Inula viscoa leaves was carried out on two different lots in order to study the influence of the picking period on the phenolic content and on the antioxidant characteristics of the extracts obtained, as well as on the optimization of technological parameters. For the two lots studied, the simple effect of temperature, the solid to liquid ratio and the interaction effect between temperature and solid to liquid ratio are the most influential parameters on all recorded responses. The phenological cycle of the plant affects the amount of phenolic compounds recovered, as well as the antiradical power and the antioxidant characteristics. The multi-response optimization of the extraction conditions gives polyphenol contents of 291 and 251 mg GAE. g-1 DW and antiradical activities of 90 and 89% for the purified extracts of July and December, respectively.
