Abstract
This study aims to experimentally evaluate an experimental approach to the length of the roller
surface of the hydraulic jump controlled by threshold, moving in a channel profile 'U' rough
bottom roughness for different tested. a functional relationship in dimensionless term, linking the
different characteristics of the projection, showing the effect of the roughness of the channel
bottom was obtained.
