Abstract

This study aim at analyzing the impact of fiscal policy on the industrial sector in Algeria. In this context, we discussed the theoretical framework for an overview of the theories of the study and previous studies and analysis of the reality of fiscal policy and the industrial sector in Algeria as a second step. The third axis was devoted to a standard study on the impact of fiscal policy on industrial production during the period 1980-2017 using the ARDL self-regression model. The results found that public spending has a positive impact on the industrial sector in the short run, but its effects will disappear in the long run. For direct and indirect taxes, they negative effect in model in the short term, but indirect taxes do not continue to affect in the long run. Public debt, fiscal deficits and trade openness have a negative impact on this sector, while credit are statistically significant and have a positive impact on industrial production in Algeria.Enter your abstract here (an abstract is a brief, comprehensive summary of the contents of the article).
