    The reuse of treated wastewater in agriculture in Ouargla is encouraging but requires monitoring and further study to encourage the valorization of treated water in the entire agricultural sector of the basin of Ouargla.The objective of this study is to monitor the physico-chemical quality of raw and purified wastewater from the N 'GOUSSA WWTP in order to detect any anomalies that may exist in the WWTP and to be able to reuse the treated water for irrigation. . The physicochemical results obtained revealed that the raw wastewater entering the treatment plant exhibits fairly high organic and nitrogen pollution. Removal of MES and nitrogen compounds appears inefficient due to the massive proliferation of implanted filters.

    ESTIMATION OF GROUNDWATER RECHARGE IN THE PLAIN OF SIDI BEL

    In Sidi Bel abbes, 30% of drinking water needs are met with groundwater. The remaining 70% are transferred from abutting cities. A situation expected to worsen due to predicted precipitation drop and population growth. Thus, identifying and quantifying the parameters of the water budget in the study area is necessary to implement adequate management and exploitation policies. In this paper, we present the full water balance of the plain of Sidi Bel Abbes for the period 2015-2016, combining the natural components of the water cycle and anthropogenic activities. The results show that the actual evapotranspiration and the runoff equal 311mm and 30mm respectively. Infiltration is equivalent to 17% of rainfall and represents 52Mm3/yr of groundwater recharge. The water deficit between the total inflows and outflows remains considerable (29Mm3/yr), despite the authorities efforts.

    EFFECT OF IRRIGATION WATER SALINITY ON A WHEAT CULTURE (TRITICUM DURUM) IN THE PRESENCE OF ORGANIC MATTER

    areas. That was motivated us to look at one of its aspects, which is irrigation water salinity, but with organic matter amounts to reduce the deterioration caused by this kind of water, and to come out with the right doses of organic matter at different levels of irrigation water salinity. We have applied three levels of irrigation water salinity: S1= 5 dS m-1, S2= 9 dS m-1 and S3=13 dS m-1, with three organic matter doses: F0= 0 t/ha, F1= 30 t/ha and F2= 60 t/ha. The results obtained were very encouraging and important through the noticeable impact of the measures studied. The positive impact of organic matter amounts on the saltiest treatments has been manifested, unlike the less salty treatments that they lack and we can say that the dose of 60 t/ ha of poultry manure is the best to increase the production of grains yield and straw yield, but the dose of 30 t/ha is the optimal dose to increase the weight of 1000 grains. This confirms the effectiveness of it responding to the irrigation water salinity effects, which is manifested in better plant yield.

    Fertile Grounds are the source for agricultural production and effective nutrients management. We aim at surveying the contribution effect of earthworm casts on physical and chemical soil characteristics (pH, organic matter, electrical conductivity, exchangeable cations) and their impact on morphophysiological parameters of lettuce. Basically, for this operation we have choose three levels of intake (100, 250 and 500g of earthworm casts/pot). The obtained results have shown that the earthworm casts are rich in nutrients such as nitrogen, calcium, potassium and organic matter. Correspondingly, the contribution of earthworm casts has increased the soil content of OM, NTK, K+ and CaCO3. Also, it has a positive effect on chlorophyll, aerial, root biomass and on lettuce growth in general. The results also have indicated that the 500g dose of

    In this paper, a survey sampling on contraceptive usage among the female undergraduates of Federal University of Technology, Akure using the randomized response technique proposed by Warner [1] was extensively carried out. The data for the study was obtained from the administration of well-structured survey questionnaires on respondents from three different schools in the University. Consequently, the estimated Warner’s proportions of female undergraduate students who used contraceptives and their resulting variances were evaluated at varying sample sizes and predetermined probabilities 𝑃 respectively. The results as presented in the summary table 10 revealed that contraceptive usage was at maximum level for School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology as sample sizes varied.

    Electronic structures, effect of the substitution and structure physical-chemistry properties relationship for macrolide derivatives, have been studied by PM3 and ab initio methods. In the present work, the calculated values, namely net charges, bond lengths, MESP, dipole moments, electron-affinities, heats of formation, then, we treated the structural, physical and chemical relationships for a series of macrolide derivatives with inhibition activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. QSAR studies were done for these macrolide derivatives using a combination of various physicochemical descriptors. A multiple linear regression procedure was used to design the relationships between molecular descriptor and the activity of macrolide derivatives. Results validate the derived QSAR model.
