(جامعة الوادي - university of el oued, 2020-12-15) Sadoun, A; Kemerchou, I; Mansouri, S; Chellali, M
In the present paper, using a numerical simulator, the simulation of Au/n-GaN and PEDOT: PSS/GaN structures were performed in a temperature at room temperature. The electrical parameters: barrier height, ideality factor, shunt resistance series, and resistance have been calculated using different methods: conventional I-V, Norde, Chattopadhyay, and Mikhelashvili. Statistical analysis showed that the Au/GaN structure has a barrier height of (0.6 eV) which is higher compared with the PEDOT: PSS/GaN structure (0.72 eV) and ideality factor (1.88 and 2.26) respectively. The values of resistance shunt were increased from 77150.056 Ω to 11207586 Ω. It is observed that the leakage current increased from 6.64E-5 to 4.98926E-5A at −0.85 V.

Numerical simulation of the flow rate effect on the evolution of a negatively buoyant water jet
(جامعة الوادي - university of el oued, 2020-11-25) Eleuch, Oumaima; Latrache, Noureddine; Frikha, Sobhi; Khechekhouche, Abderrahmane; Driss, Zied
A numerical simulation study was done on a penetrating pure water jet injected into another surrounding salt water miscible with negative buoyancy conditions. For the incompressible filtered Navier-Stokes equations and the sum of the fluid model volume, we used a transient Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solver (VOF model). A finite volume discretization method using Open Source code given in Open Foam 2.3.0. was used to solve these equations. The flow has a significant impact in the laminar system on the evolution of the jet in terms of subsequent permanent phase as well as transient regime

Induction machines diagnosis by the time's harmonics
(جامعة الوادي - university of el oued, 2020-12-01) Allal, Abderrrahim; Khechekhouche, Abderrahmane; Driss, Zied
The induction motor is currently becoming the key element of most industrial equipment. Despite these advantages, a certain number of constraints of very different natures can affect the lifetime of this machine, causing considerable economic losses. This work is the study experimental of defects for an asynchronous machine (with and without defect). After having described the main defects that can occur on these. In this study, we propose a method called induction machines diagnosis by the time's harmonics. This technique is based to study the influence of a defect of short-circuiting on the studied induction motor, we will find the rank of the harmonic of the most influenced by the number of the rank default. this study will find the diagnostic index of induction motor with stator default using the time harmonics. The results obtained show that the 3rd order time-harmonic is very sensitive compared to the other harmonics

(جامعة الوادي - university of el oued, 2020-12-12) Salsabila, Annida Annida; Nurfatonah, Dea Yuli; Sela, Selvian Kitin; Wardhani, Putri Kusuma
The synthesis of nanoparticles from noble metals such as tin (IV) oxide (SnO2) is a research in progress with a very wide application in various fields, such as environmental improvement, gas sensors, catalysis, and lithium-ion batteries. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the economic feasibility of producing tin (IV) oxide (SnO2) nanoparticles using the microwave-assisted green synthesis method on an industrial scale for 10 years by evaluating from an engineering and economic perspective. Various economic parameters are used to analyze economic viability, including Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Payback period (PBP), Cumulative Net Present Value (CNPV), as well as economic variations in sales, taxes, raw materials, labor wages, and utilities to ascertain project viability. Technical analysis to produce 8.54 kg of SnO2 nanoparticles per day shows a total production cost of 1,982,243,613.12 IDR and a total investment cost of 1,732,590,765.12 IDR. The resulting gross profit margin is 39,231,578,268 IDR/year, the profit is relatively economical, so this project can be run for 10 years under ideal conditions. This research is expected to be a reference for technical and economic analysis of industrial scale production of SnO2 nanoparticles

Economic evaluation of zinc oxide nanoparticle production through green synthesis method using Cassia fistula plant extract
(جامعة الوادي - university of el oued, 2020-12-15) Fatmarin, Zahra; Utami, Fidya AhdiatiFidya Ahdiati; Girsang, Gabriela Chelvina Santiuly; Mulya, Sri Zahra Mina Setyani; Fentiana, Vina Dian; Putri, Yashinta Kirana; Nandiyanto, Asep Bayu Dani
The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of a zinc oxide (ZnO) manufacturing project through a green synthesis method using plant extracts Cassia fistula and then evaluate it from an engineering and economic perspective. Several economic evaluation parameters are analyzed to inform the potential production of ZnO nanoparticles, such as the length of time required for an investment to return the total initial expenditure (PBP), the condition of a production project in the form of a production function in years (CNPV), project benefits and so on. The results showed that the production of ZnO nanoparticles was very prospective. Technical analysis to produce 250 kg of ZnO nanoparticles per day shows the total cost of the equipment purchased to be 21,450.00 USD. PBP analysis shows that investment will be profitable after more than three years. This project can compete with PBP capital market standards because of the short investment returns. To ensure the feasibility of a project, the project is estimated from ideal conditions to the worst case in production, including labor, sales, raw materials, utilities, and external conditions.

Economic and Technical Evaluation of LifePO4 Production using Hydrothermal Method
(جامعة الوادي - university of el oued, 2020-12-01) Chairunnisa, Alya; Wulandari, Sarah Ayu; Salsabila, Shafa; Putri, Silmi Ridwan; Nandiyanto, Wulan Maryam
The aim of this study is to evaluate the economic and engineering layout carried out on a factory scale LiFePO4 production using the hydrothermal synthesis method. The method used is economic evaluation by calculating gross profit margin (GPM), payback period (PBP), break-even point (BEP), internal rate return (IRR), cumulative net present value (CNPV), return on investment (ROI). , and the profitability index (PI). LiFePO4 was synthesized using precursors FeSO4.H2O, ascorbic acid and H3PO4 and then reacted with LiOH2.2H2O by maintaining the Li: Fe: P molar ratio of 3: 1: 1. The results of GPM and CNPV calculations from the manufacture of industrial scale LiFePO4 show that the payback period (PBP) has increased in the fourth year. LiFePO4 applications on an industrial scale can be used for lithium ion batteries

A small parabolic trough collector as a solar water heater: an experimental study in Ouargla region, Algeria
(جامعة الوادي - university of el oued, 2020-11-20) Benderradji, Razik; Gouidmi, Hamza; Beghidja, Abdelhadi
This study aims to conduct an experimental thermal examination of a parabolic trough collector in Ouargla region at Algeria, which will be used as a solar water heater. The solar collector was manufactured and then experimentally tested, as its theoretical optical performance was estimated at 75.06%, while the values of its true thermal performance are 10.61, 10.68 and 8.85 % for 13 May, 14 May and 15 May. Although its thermal performance is somewhat low, the studied PTC is effective in heating the water, whereas, using a volumetric flow of 0.011 l/s, about 317 liters of water can be heated daily at 42°C, knowing that the daily average consumption of hot water in a typical house is 250 liters because the Ouargla region is strategically located that receives huge amounts of solar irradiance
