    تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تبيان دور التخطيط اللغوي في النهوض باللغة العربية وحمايتها, وهذا من خلال تقييم الواقع اللغوي الذي تعيشه لغتنا اليوم, وذلك بالنظر إلى السياسات اللغوية المعتمدة في المجتمعات العربية في محاولة للوقوف على أبرز المشكلات التي تعانيها اللغة في وقتنا الراهن, والخروج ببعض الحلول التي يمكن أن تساهم في حماية اللغة العربية. This research paper aims to show the role of language planning in promoting and protecting the Arabic language. This can be done by evaluating the linguistic reality in which our language lives today, in view of the language policies adopted in Arab societies. We have tried to identify the most prominent problems that the language suffers from at the present time. Finally, we have come up with some Solutions that would contribute to the protection of the Arabic language.
