Item Comparative Study of Honey Collected from Different Flora of Algeria(Journal of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, 2014) Rebiai, A; Lanez, TThe aim of the present study was to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of five Algerian unifloral types of honey. Several physical parameters of honey, such as pH, moisture content, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, color intensity and total sugar content, were measured. The mean pH, moisture content, EC and water insoluble solids of Algerian honey were 4.41± 0.58, 15.3 ± 1.5%, 0.324± 0.116 mS/cm and 0.141± 0.065%, respectively. The mean color was 81 ± 72 mm Pfund. The majority of honey samples test results (moisture content, electric conductivity and acidity) levels were within the acceptable range of world honey standards.Item CORROSION INHIBITION OF CARBON STEEL XC70 IN H2SO4 SOLUTION BY FERROCENE DERIVATIVE 4-(FERROCENYLMETHYLAMINE) BENZONITRILE(جامعة الوادي - university of el oued, 2012) Zaiz, T; Lanez, TIn this work, we studied the efficiency of corrosion inhibition of carbon steel XC70 in H2SO4 0.5 M solution using ferrocenyl compound prepared in our laboratory, this compound is: 4- (ferrocenylmethylamine)benzonitrile (FC). The inhibitory potential of this compound was determined by electrochemical techniques based on Tafel segments. The results show that the studied compound has an efficiency of inhibition which depends on its concentration the adsorption of these compounds on the surface of the metal is a chemical adsorption. The compound FC had the best ability of inhibition at a concentration of 30 ppm (IE = 75.36%).Item EXPERIMENTAL AND QUANTUM CHEMICAL STUDIES ON MOLECULAR STRUCTURE, SPECTROSCOPIC ANALYSIS, NLO ANALYSIS AND HOMO-LUMO OF SUBSTITUTED N-FERROCENYLMETHYL-N-PHENYLAMIDES(university of el oued/جامعة الوادي, 2021-01-01) Zegheb, N; Boubekri, C; Lanez, T; Kerassaa, AThis work aims to determine structural, crystal properties and molecular spectroscopy of three N-ferrocenylmethyl-N-phenylamide using DFT method. The computed bond lengths, bond angles and dihedral angles of the titled molecules were calculated and compared with the experimental geometrical parameters, the amount of positive and negative charges using Mulliken charge and the molecular electrostatic potential map (MESP) were also investigated. The theoretical vibrational frequencies were compared with the corresponding experimental data. 1H and 13C NMR spectra were obtained using gauge including atomic orbital (GIAO) method, the calculated and experimental chemical shifts were compared. The dipole moment, linear polarizability and first order hyperpolarizability values were also computed. A study on the electronic properties, HOMO and LUMO energies, were performed by time-dependent DFT (TD-DFT) approach.Item IN VITRO AND IN SILICO EVALUATION OF ANTICANCER ACTIVITY OF N,N-DIMETHYLAMINOMETHYLFERROCENE(university of eloued -جامعة الوادي, 2019-05-01) Adaika, A; Lanez, T; Lanez, EThe aim of this study was to examine the interaction of DNA with the ligand N,N-dimethylaminomethylferrocene(NDF) in buffer phosphate solution(pH = 7.2) by electronic spectroscopy, electrochemical and molecular docking technics. The electrochemical results showed that the binding constant and free binding energy of the adduct DNA-NDF is equal to 1.48×10-4and -23,81 KJ.mol-1respectively. These results were in good agreement with those obtained from electronic spectroscopie assays;furthermore the interaction was also confirmed by the low value of diffusion coefficient of the bounded ligand1.83×10-8cm2.s-1as compared to the free ligand 2.13×10-8cm2.s-1. In addition the in silico study by molecular docking confirms the obtained in vitroresults. Molecular docking further indicated that the ligand is binds to DNA via a hydrogen bond betweenitsnitrogen atom and the oxygen number 4 of the deoxyadenine of the DNA B-chainItem In vitro Evaluation of Antioxidant Capacity of Algerian Propolis by Spectrophotometrical and Electrochemical Assays(Asian Network for Scientific Information, 2011-01-01) Rebiai, A; Lanez, T; Belfar, MLThe aim of the present study was to evaluate the antioxidant capacity and the total phenolic content of propolis extract, obtained from colonies of honeybees located in El-Oued (south of Algeria). The total phenolic content was evaluated using the Folin-Ciocalteu method and the anticoxidant capacity was measured using the following methods: 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picryhydrazyl free radical scavenging capacity and reducing power capacity for spectrophotometrical techniques, ascorbic and gallic acids equivalent antioxidant capacity assays for electrochemical techniques. Both techniques allowed an evaluation of the antioxidant capacity of methanolic propolis extract. The electrochemical techniques were performed by cyclic voltammetry, the results suggest that propolis extract do not reveal similar electrochemical responses to that of ascorbic and gallic acids, suggesting a different electroactive chemical composition and oxidation potential more positive than that of the standard (ascorbic acid), however this does not suggest that propolis has a lower antioxidant capacity. The results suggest also that propolis extract possess antioxidant capacity in vitro conditions.Item INVESTIGATIONS OF THE BINDING PARAMETRES OF THE INTERACTION OF N'-FERROCENYLMETHYL-N'-PHENYLACETO- AND PROPIONOHYDRAZIDE WITH DNA(university of eloued -جامعة الوادي, 2019-05-01) Mouada, H; Lanez, T; Lanez, EHerein we describe the determination of binding parameters of the interaction of N'- ferrocenylmethyl-N'-phenylacetohydrazide (FcA) and N'-ferrocenylmethyl-N'-phenylpropionohydrazide (FcP) derivatives with chicken blood double-stranded DNA (cb-ds DNA) in phosphate buffer (PB) solution at physiological pH 7.2 by electronic spectroscopy and molecular docking calculations. The results indicated that both FcA and FcP bind DNA in groove binding mode, values of binding constants and binding free energy obtained from electronic spectroscopy measurements and molecular docking calculations were in good agreement
