    Dealing back with the history of teacher training and its evolution in Algeria from independence, we specifically analyze the different phases it has known in relation with the political-historical context. Indeed, with the aim of founding an Algerian school which is held, the sector has not ceased to give in to the need to recruit to their posts not better teachers but enough teachers . Cet article donne un aperçu rétrospectif sur l'histoire de la formation des enseignants et son évolution en Algérie depuis l’indépendance à nos jours. Il examine spécifiquement les différentes phases qu’elle a connues en symbiose avec le contexte politico-historique. En effet, dans l’objectif de lancer les fondations d’une école algérienne qui se tient, le secteur n’a cessé de céder face à la nécessité de recrutés et de nommer à leurs postes non pas de meilleurs enseignants mais assez d’enseignants.
