    تـعتبر مسألة العلوم الاجتماعية من بين المسائل التي شكلت هما فلسفيا، لأنها تتميز بكونها تحول جذري على كافة المستويات في المعرفة، في فهم الإنسان، في تصور الطبيعة، وفي معنى التاريخ. إن معضلة العلوم الاجتماعية بالنظر إليها كظاهرة عقلية تحتاج إلى تمثل واع إزاء أفق جديد يبحث عن ظهور نظرية نقدية انتهى بها مفكرو وفلاسفة علم الاجتماع إلى نتيجة تفضي للانسحاب من الدعوة إلى إنقاذ الفرد من الانحطاط من خلال مشروع اجتماعي، هذا المشروع يحاول من خلاله استصلاح العقل وإنشاء معقولية تواصلية لا تضاد العقل بتمامه بل تنكر تسلطه فقط The issue of Social Sciences formed busier philosophically, because it is characterized by being a radical transformation at all levels of knowledge, in the human understanding, in the perception of nature, and the meaning of history.
