تتناول الدّراسة دور النّخبة الوطنيّة الزّيتونيّة في العمل الوطني التّونسي وفي بلورة مطلب الاستقلال ، في الفترة ما بين 1900 باعتبار أنّ مطلع القرن العشرين مثّل بدايات الوعي والنّهضة الوطنيّة في تونس ، وصولا إلى سنة 1920 عندما أسّس الشّيخ عبد العزيز الثّعالبي الذي يعتبر رائد الحريّة الوطنيّة التّونسيّة الحزب الحرّ الدّستوري التّونسي. The study address the role of the national elite al-Zaytunah issues in the work of the Tunisian national, in elaborating the independence demand, in the period between 1900 since the beginning of the twentieth century, such as the beginnings of awareness of National Renaissance in Tunisia, access to the year 1920 when the foundations of Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ta 'allibi, which is considered the pioneer of freedom, Tunisian National Tunisian Constitutional Liberal Party.
