    تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى بلورة مفهوم المفارقة في النقد الغربي والتراث العربي، وقد عرضنا فيها ماهية هذا المصطلح بشيء من العمق والتوسع للإمساك بمختلف دلالاته وما يندرج تحته من معان عدة. كما تتبعت تلك الدلالات والمعاني بأبعادها الفكرية والفنية لتقنية المفارقة بهذا القدر والخروج من ذلك بتعريف يضمّ أطراف المفارقة المترامية الأبعاد This study seeks to elaborate on the concept of irony in the Western criticism and Arab heritage, and we have offered them what this term in some depth and expansion to hold various connotations and what falls under it from many different meanings. As traced those connotations and meanings dimensions of intellectual and artistic technique and irony so much out of it includes the definition of irony Parties vast dimensions.
