The study delves into the opportunities and challenges associated with employing AI approaches for identifying instances of plagiarism. Through a comprehensive assessment, including a thorough literature review and methodology description, the paper evaluates the accuracy and performance of Chat GPT in comparison to traditional methods and other AI-based techniques for detecting plagiarism. The results highlight the potential of Chat GPT in enhancing the detection of plagiarism while acknowledging the limitations and ethical considerations surrounding the use of AI in this domain. This study contributes valuable insights to the existing body of research on AI and plagiarism detection, shedding light on the prospects and obstacles related to leveraging Chat GPT and similar AI technologies to combat plagiarism effectively.
