أثر الازمة الصحية العالمية على معدلات البطالة في البلدن العربية 2017-2021

Abstract

" تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى البحث في مدى تأثير انتشار جائحة كورونا على معدلات البطالة ومن ثم مساعدة صانع السياسة على احتواء الأزمة والحد من الآثار السلبية لهذه الجائحة على متغيرات الاقتصاد الكلي، وخاصة مستوى التشغيل ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تعرض الدراسة بعض التعاريف المتعلقة بجائحة كورونا والبطالة، ثم تناول بالعرض والتحليل بعض الدراسات التطبيقية السابقة التي بحث في التأثير الاقتصادي لجائحة كورونا. ثم ستعرض الدراسة أوضاع التشغيل والبطالة في الدول العربية أثناء الجائحة وتستخدم ((panel من أجل تقدير تأثير جائحة كورونا على معدلات البطالة في الدول العربية في الفترة من عام 2017_2021, وقد استخدم نموذج ذو الأثر العشوائي والثابت وكذلك نموذج هوسمان من أجل المفاضلة بين النموذجين. وأوضحت نتائج التقدير وجود علاقة غير معنوية وقد يرجع ذلك إلى انحسار المرض وبدء التوصل إلى العلاجات الملائمة، وهو ما يتزامن أيضا مع الإجراءات التي تتخذها الدولة للتخفيف من حدّة الآثار السلبية للوباء على البطالة. "" This study aims to investigate the extent of the impact of the spread of the corona pandemic on unemployment rates and then help the policy maker to contain the crisis and reduce the negative effects of this pandemic on Macroeconomic variables, especially the level of employment. To achieve this goal, the study presents some definitions related to the corona pandemic and Unemployment, then dealt with presentation and analysis some previous applied studies that examined the economic impact of the corona pandemic 2017_2021. A random and fixed effect model, as well as the Haussmann model, were used in order to compare between the two models The results of the assessment indicated that there was an insignificant relationship, and this may be due to the decline of the disease and the start of finding appropriate treatments. This is also linked to the measures taken by the state to mitigate the negative effects of the epidemic on unemployment. "
