Les marchés boursiers sont soumis à une réglementation foisonnante développée et mise en œuvre par des autorités de régulation. Elles ont été instituées pour assurer la régulation des marchés boursiers, en adoptant des mécanismes multiples tels que la réglementation, le contrôle et la surveillance, ainsi que la répression. La loi régissant le secteur boursier algérien connait plusieurs lacunes, raison pour laquelle on appelle à la réforme de ces dispositions, de manière à réaliser une régulation souple et efficace.
