معركة حصن العقاب (609هـ /1212م)

Abstract

تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على السياق التاريخي لمعركة حصن العقاب (609هـ /1212م) وتداعياتها على التجربة السياسية الموحدية بالأندلس، وكذا استقراء التركيبة البشرية لجيش المعركة، وانعكاسات الهزيمة على مستقبل دولة الموحدين، وعلى الوضع الديموغرافي بالغرب الإسلامي عامة، لنتوصل إلى أن نتائج المعركة السلبية ساهمت في القضاء على الوجود الموحدي بالأندلس، وفي تداعيات قوضت أركان الدولة بحاضرتها المغربية، مما أدى في نهاية الأمر إلى زوال حكم آل عبد المؤمن بالغرب الإسلامي . The study aims to understand the historical context of the Battle of Hafs al-Aqaba (609 AH / 1212 CE) and its implications on the Almohad political experience in al-Andalus, as well as to examine the human composition of the battle's army, and the repercussions of the defeat on the future of the Almohad state, and on the demographic situation in the western Islamic world in general. It concludes that the negative results of the battle contributed to the elimination of Almohad presence in al-Andalus, and to the weakening of the state's pillars in its Moroccan capital, ultimately leading to the end of Almohad rule in the western Islamic world.
